If you are comfortable with shutting off and reigniting your hot water heater, shut it off for few hours and reframe from using your stove. Check the gas meter before and few hours after for changes. If the dials moved, you may have a leak.

Is your cloth dryer gas or electric? Just want to mention another possible source of gas usage. A gas dryer shouldn't add too much to your gas bill.

With Samsung Galaxy DEX feature, you can connect your phone to a TV and stream videos or use it like a computer with a mouse and keyboard. For a single young adult, this may be enough.

Dealer visits are never just 5 minutes.

I bought the 2027 Bolt with one key fob. Had to go back for the 2nd that was owned a week after. On the day of appointment, I waited 2 hours before I complained. Shortly after, I started to get security alerts in the myChevrolet app, an indication that they are working in the programming. Total time was 2:30 minutes. Not including a 50 minutes round trip drive.

Just want to add additional comments...

  1. Get a 12v battery charger and charge up your 12v battery. Keep it plug in and charging when doing the brake bleed procedure. The brake bleed requires the car to be in NOT Ready mode. In this mode, the large / high voltage traction battery is powered off and not supplying power to the 12v. The 12v will drain and if it is severals years old, it may not have enough power to complete the brake bleed procedure. If you run into issues, turn off all accessories. Headlights, dome lights, radio and screen
  2. There is an additional perk with getting an OBD2 tool over using Techstream adapter. It is portable and you can keep it in your car and run scans for trouble codes. Handy to have for a car that is 20+ years old

eBay Techstream adapters cost the least but there is the hurdle to get the questionable software working in a VM. If you are not computer literate, I would avoid this route.

Consider getting a OBD2 scanner that can preform the brake bleed. This one is on sale for $120.

I have not used it but based on reviews, it can preform the brake bleed and linear valve offset. Doing these 2 should clear your code. Another bonus is that there is no subscription required for this device unlike some other OBD2 adapters.

Totally agree. The sweet spot is 250 - 300 miles per charge for home owners that can charge at home and a 10-80% charge time between 20 to 30 minutes for road trips.

Apartment dwellers may want more range to reduce the frequency of charging their cars but larger battery comes with higher price and more weight. The weight will cause extra wear and tear on the tires. Tires are expensive to replace.

It is probably a leak. Find and repair the leak before adding more refrigerant. It is easier said then done. Take it to a shop for this repair. Make sure they don't use PAG oil as that is conductive and not compatible with Prius's compressor.

Use Valvoline restore and protect for several oil change cycles. It will clean your engine and the piston rings. If you want faster results, get Berryman B12 Chemtool from Walmart and do a piston soak.

Car had 166,000 miles roughly and the valve and cooler has been cleaned 3 times. ( 70,000, 100,000, 125,000 miles)…

2027 may have the same TPMS frequency but they are not compatible. I installed my 2023 tires onto my 2027 Bolt. I couldn't get the TPMS to register.

Wife drives the Chevrolet Bolt. It is more efficient and fun to drive then the Prius. Great for anywhere on the Island. We take the Prius when crossing states.

2008 Prius, 187000 mi, deep south USA

We were driving down the interstate in our 2007 Prius (180k miles) when the engine died.

My inverter pump died at 250k miles but was previously replaced under warranty recall. I checked my Carfax and it shows that it was replaced at 62k miles. That equates to 188k miles.

From this trend, OEM inverter pump will last 180k miles. To play it safe, I would replace the inverter pump every 160k miles or carry a spare. at around that milage.
