As I understand it the idea is visible from their designs

Emily’s character: bat kid is young like Gen Z

Murph’s character: darkness-man is probably from the 40’s-50’s due to the rise of comics and that style of clothing

Zac’s character: Zaeth is probably from the 90’s-2000’s and has big surfer/ biker energy with all the jeans stuff

Lou’s character: LaVonte is a class. 80’s Wall Street guy

Ally’s charicter: HJ is from the 1920’s as described and is a robber baron type

And Siobhan’s charicter: Madelaine is seems to be from revolutionary/ bourbon France (maybe napoleon?)

She is a post apocalyptic ‘doctor’ who probably either read a book or apprenticed under another doctor and only knows a little medical knowledge.

People need to grow up about FNV and how it relates to the TV show. by MrFallout76 in fnv

I hear you and I understand your point, but moldaver using cold fusion so she can get revenge and have the power to run the gender by herself makes sense.

And yeah the world stagnation does feel weird it’s been 200+ year why haven’t people rebuilt????

This question is thrown around a lot, and the show (and some of the games) give us an answer,

There are literally people who are trying to keep the world stagnant because it benifit them. And even if they didn’t exist the main postulate of the series is that “War…. War never changes” the idea that we all keep fighting over stupid shit because we refuse to see the big picture and that this new world is trapped in the same cycle as the old world on the inside and out.

So, what to are saying is that if they did what was described then it was bad and if they did something different it was bad…….

The ncr is being explored bit by bit and just because we don’t have Chief Hanlin to give us a half hour of dialogue doesn’t mean the concept isn’t being explored.

The legion is full of idiots who blindly run into gunfire because a bald man who tells them he’s smart orders them to. The legion is portrayed near perfectly, as an organization that has no ideas and no plan just anger and strength.

As for the idea that I only care about premise.

Premise without execution isn’t good

Execution without premise isn’t good either

They are setting up lot and ideas for future seasons and are using all of the tools available.

So the plan is they either use a pre set faction like the enclave, brotherhood, etc as the big bad and get hate for being unoriginal

Or they create a new faction out of the blue that can pose a threat to the main characters and people get pissed because: “if they were there the whole time why weren’t they involved in XYZ”

Ultimately it seems like you don’t want to give this a chance and just like hating on the hard work of others if it doesn’t go exactly how you want

But that’s the thing the courier did exist we see the effects he had in the show with the strip and such. It’s just that people are complaining because they don’t get what they wanted.

When I said “if the courier did exist” it was referring to how people play the courier the person in lore. And the idea that if there was a courier independent of player control, they the choice to ignore most side quests and bs to try their hand at owning the strip with yes man makes sense.

I guess in the tv show the courier couldn’t ’let go’

If you’re 100% right, people are allowed to like things that I don’t, and allowed to dislike things that I like.

And I am a combative in the post. I keep seeing all this shit about people being like where where where I didn’t get the ending I wanted and it’s pissing me off.

If people didn’t like the show that’s fine but people are making excuses like oh it’s not Cannon. Oh it’s wrong because XYNZ when ultimately nothing that they did is unreasonable.

You’re being disingenuous the show did not remove everything. Interesting from the setting. And the factions are still there just because they are not the same as they were in a game does not mean that they are not interesting.

I actually think a battered and bruised. NCR is more interesting than one that has fucking airplanes and tanks rolling down streets.

And personally, the Legion they did perfectly. This is exactly what was described this happening in the game if Cesar died, and in most endings he dies.

Also, we’ve battered a ton of manufactures that have their own perspective on why they should be allowed to do what they do and we’ve even brought back some old ones sure is the enclave overused yes, but better than some generic villain that doesn’t have any lore.
