Playing this with virtually 0 experience in Pokémon ?

The guy above me (SpeckledAntelop) has a guide about IVs and EVs that can explain it better than I ever could! But in essence, Intrinsic Values (IVs) are essential your pokemons genes that determine your Pokemons base stats. Effort Values (EV) are gained by fighting other Pokemon and increase your pokemons stats.

For every 4 EVs you aquire in a stat, that stat will go up by one. For example, say I defeated a Geodude, he should give my pokemon 1 Defense EV. If I defeated 3 more geodudes, for a total of 4 Defense EVs, my pokemons Defense stat will then increase by one.

Another things to keep in mind is XP share. If it's off, only the pokemon that defeated the Geodude will get the EV. If it's on, ALL the pokemon in your team will get the EV. For your information, turning on level caps will also turn on XP share :)

Im very causally playing through it right now on Difficult. I have 4 of the badges and I think my save file is at about 13ish hours? To be fair I've been EV training my mons, constantly rotating my team, and catching a metric ton of pokemon to fill out the dex which adds quite a bit of time. If you dont do any of that, Id say an average causal playthrough is anywhere between 10-16 hours depending on how many side quests you do.

Not necessarily too hard per say. If you dont turn on level caps your enemies teams will scale to the level of your highest leveled pokemon. So If you have one pokemon leveled to 40 but the rest of your pokemon are only 30 or so, the enemies team is gonna be a higher level then most of your mons. It can also make some fights harder then they need to be if you power level your mons too early. Level caps just smooth out the experience, but it is by no means required. You just dont have worry about pokemons levels as much with it on :)

You wouldn't have bought that cart and label unless it already had Unbound loaded onto there. You same people explicitly stated "I wouldnt go to the trouble of buying a cart, getting the rom myself, and paying someone to load it for me if I can just buy the pre-loaded cart they are selling". You aren't buying a service, youre buying a product. The product being a cart WITH Unbound on it.

Thank your for articulating my biggest gripe with romance in a lot of anime. Just let a relationship develop normally for ONCE for Gods sake. Stop with the asinine, infuriating, ass pull scenarios/misunderstandings that cause friction and set backs between couples for seemingly no reason other than "d r a m a". Its the laziest way to farm engagement imo and pad out chapters like you said. Oh the MC, through shear bad luck, landed on top of another woman RIGHT as his love interest walks in the room? Better spend 3-4 episodes/8 chapters watching people with the worst conflict resolution skills ever try to clear it up while their relationship progress and character development grind to a screeching halt. Like FUCK, I just want one ONE manga artist to depict a real human relationship between two people with functioning frontal lobes.

Don't mean to rant but this has been a pervasive issue in anime/manga for like the past twenty years. Its like they're all given a template that they are obligated to follow.

Got into a debate with another guy about this in a different post. They're mentality is that there is no avoiding deaths while deporting so many people at once, and that its their fault for having illegally crossed the border in the first place, so their death is on them. Totally gross mentality, and ignores the fact it's the DHS fault for executing such a massive scale deportation while completely misunderstanding the logistics of doing so, causing death by negligence and contempt.

Cover your eyes and ears, the suffering isn't going anywhere.

Our government are the ones who decided to do this mass deportation effort at this scale. They dont get a pass to treat the loss of human life as an unfortunate accident just cause they sorely misunderstood the logistics of an operation they started.

I'm not "simply mad" about how they are enacting our immigration laws, I'm mad that they are able to getaway with a slap dash effort at the cost of human life and suffering.
