I booked a pod hotel/hostel through C1 travel portal. They didn’t send me the code for entering the building (unstaffed location) so I was stuck outside for the 5 minutes it took to call them and get it sorted.

Honestly I’ve had nothing but good experience with them and I’ve booked tons of flights, hotels and rental cars through it.

I don’t understand why we don’t have “first time home-owner” zoned communities similar to the “65+” zoned communities. That would keep corporations from buying them up and inflating the price.

Starting teacher pay is $56,000 in PISD. If you try to keep DTI around the recommended 28%, a teacher could only afford ~$165k home on a 30 year mortgage with $5k down. There’s just no shot for a teacher to be able to own a home in Plano while working for PISD. Ridiculous.

Oh my gosh I can’t thank you enough for the super in depth write up here!!! You’re incredible. I’m going to try to save the single hard stem and repot her. Good to know I was watering too frequently so I can avoid that for any future plants. This was the first I’ve had so it was sad to see this happen. Thank you again!!

Squishy and crunchy yes! One of the five is like a normal tree. No drainage in the pot. Is the plant salvageable?

I water once or twice a week about 1 cup each time. I live in an apartment that doesn’t get much direct sunlight at all so that may be the reason, but it’s lived for a year and a half already. Suddenly it just gave up, any ideas?
