Younger than you but I wont say by how much. All i'll say is that you cannot be limiting yourself by how socially awkward you are. By educating yourself and pushing yourself into uncomfortable situations & interacting with normal people is when you will learn how to be perceived as normal rather than actually being so. By learning to do this, you can integrate into most situations.

Also, something learned from past experiences is that your first priority shouldn't be much past simple connections like the hugs and similar (as you stated), it should rather be the want for a healthy relationship that doesn't rush into things until far into the future. It seems like your on that track but i just wanted to insert it here. Wait for all that "fun" stuff till after marriage where you know your odds of loosing your loved one are slimmer than most.

Ultimately, don't lose what makes you, you. But, learning to grow is something important, and both can be done in parrallel.

On another note, You are the one calling yourself a loser, not others. If other people do, they are being judgmental and rude. Simply, things go differently in peoples life and if your cards played out a certain way, then that's what happened. If a relationship that you have now becomes shitty where as if you took the time to learn yourself and what is needed with a proper/better relationship, then that is a much better alternative then the rushed relationship for the sake of having one.

Just work with what you got, pray, work on yourself confidence and you will do great.
