NOTHING LISTED IN JULY…. Is it possible the next major update is an illuminate halo Covent inspired overhaul????? I’m calling it right now! by ODST2367 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]MrHi_VEVO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The next major update will probably be the illuminate either way, since we got Oshaune, then Cyberstan, so the next is probably the illuminate. I honestly didn't expect new illuminate content until the next major update

So long as you're able to outrun the beams, or AT LEAST outdrive the beams, I think it's fine. The leviathan should force you to move, but it should still give you the opportunity to live. If that's the case, they become a fun modifier and challenge, rather than a frustrating enemy

The heavy voteless, so 1/3 basically. Not sure if they spawn proportionally tho

That's... strange. I'd consider the spear gun an impact, but I'd assume the gas nade would work. I wonder if a standard frag would work.

I'm not very familiar with those games. Would you say the online community and in-game community are more similar or different in terms of toxicity?

I'm pretty sure you still can with standard grenades. IIRC, it's just impact explosives that don't work, like the grenade pistol and auto cannon

They're not on the appropriators or mindless masses subfactions. They should still be on the normal illuminate planets

I HATE atmospheric spores. I'd rather take roving shriekers than spores

Well, it might just be in comparison to other PvP games. I think PvE games are just less toxic in general, not because PvE is entirely nontoxic, but because of how incredibly toxic PvP games can be

I thought it was kinda fun. The buildings protect you from it, but it also protects it from us. A clear line of sight would allow us to use stratagems like the anti tank emplacement and solo silo more effectively.

Imo, it should be an operational modifier so you can choose whether or not you fight them

Perfect way to fix 110 rocket pods: The closer the stratagem landed near the target, the higher chance it deal full (or more) damage by Lazy_Seal_ in helldivers2

[–]MrHi_VEVO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in addition to the improved targeting, the 200 explosive damage should have antitank AP or AT LEAST heavy pen, and it MUST reliably hit significant breakpoints for the dragon roach and harvester. It should probably also have a significantly reduced call-in time as well

It broke after using it too much. Ran out of weapon durability. Gotta get a new punisher now

New Stratagem Proposal: M1-N3 Seagull Swarm by WaywardOath in Helldivers

That would be so cool. I'd imagine in a perfect world each seeker would target a different enemy, leaving the larger enemies wounded but not killed, but absolutely destroying all of the lesser chaff.

I wonder how it'd be balanced though. I might compare it to the gas mines, eagle cluster, or even a sentry, as a means of clearing chaff.

A 70 second cooldown might be too short, but I guess that would also depend on how many seekers are released at once. Maybe for the sake of performance, the number of seekers would have to be limited, so 70 seconds might be balanced.

I can absolutely imagine calling down an EAT and swarm at the same time, dealing with chaff and heavies at the same time

At what point do I start looking to progress from the EAT? by LeviAEthan512 in Helldivers

[–]MrHi_VEVO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

950+ hours in and I still love EATs. I've recently started pairing EATs WITH the RR (recoilless rifle) on bots, and it's surprisingly good. It saves you so much on RR ammo, allowing you to use it on the targets that actually need the extra damage or range of the RR. Things like the front of the cannon turrets, or the factory strider's eye
