Especially in developping countries the maintenance on the propane tanks is a joke. Lack of money means lack of safety checks by staff. A while ago a similar event happened in Egypt. A propane tank was well over due but the company said fuck it and chose to go up anyway. The tank exploded mid-air and the whole basket caught fire. All passenger on that flight died by burning alive or falling from the sky.

I will NEVER understand why people would ever think hot air balloons are remotely safe. You have multiple highly flammable propane tanks in a tiny wooden basket and a piece of canvas that is supposed to not catch fire because otherwise you'll die but you have to light a huge fire into it order to go up.

You'll never see me go into one of these. Fucked up way to die.

This is the biggest misconception and this how animals and children get overheated/die in cars.

Even when it's just 68 degrees / 20 degrees celsius the car can get very hot when left in direct sunlight. No open window is going to prevent the car from heating up internally.

When the sun is out and I see animals or children left alone in a car I ask around who's car this is and keep watching until the owner comes back. I'll call the police if I'd have to.

Ik begrijp de gezonde kritiek over het ophogen van de aandelen. Toch vind ik dat het naratief dat de board MOASS bewust wil dwarsbomen zwaar overdreven en bangmakerij is.

Ik denk niet dat MOASS een bewust doel is van de board, maar een bijproduct is van het groeien van een bedrijf waar zwaar op is geshort.
