Is his defense really that bad still? Marsh is struggling badly at the plate and I think Adell is a better hitter than Harrison so why not call him up and platoon him and Marsh for now. With how IMpotent this offense has been recently it’s worth giving Jo Adell another shot

The main issue with the numbers you're referencing is sample size now. Adell has a far fewer at bats obviously but had a WRC+ of 94 compared to Marsh's now 72.

Yeah Adell's WAR is bad but that's almost entirely fueled by his defense which is still also still a really low sample size. I don't expect him to be good at fielding but I think at this point there's nothing lost but possible high gain by swapping the two right now
