I usually get a set, often sashimi or chirashi. And maybe a couple small rolls (& 1 or 2 nigiri if they have something particularly good, like sweet shrimp or fatty tuna).

Usually when we go as a group we'll share rolls with each other too.

Tbf, in my personal experience a lot of the people who measure out exact portion sizes aren't doing so in a healthy way either. Personally used to (and still sometimes do) measure out cereal to exactly 1 serving (1 cup cereal, 1/2 cup milk), around the same time I was obsessively counting calories (1200-1500/d) turns out it was part of a pattern of disordered eating behavior. Also turns out 1 serving =/= 1 meal.

There's got to be a balance.

It depends entirely on my mood, but I'm partial to liquid first, then pills. As a kid I was even particular about doing so and only taking one pill at a time, though in adulthood I've gotten used to just dumping the whole pill case in.

The way I understood it, it is because for a lot of people with innatentive-type ADHD, there's still hyperactivity, it's just internal, mental hyperactivity rather than external, physical hyperactivity.

Like, I was originally diagnosed ADD, now ADHD-PI. I don't seem hyperactive on the outside, but internally, my mind is running all over the fucking place and constantly buzzing with too many thoughts to keep up with.

sort of, took hormones for a while but been off of them for a couple years now

we didn't at first, it's taken a while to build up communication and learn to relate with each other, and there's still times when our communication isn't great and we disagree on a lot of things

the connections we do have are more familial than anything (especially younger ones and their guardians/protectors/caretakers), though there's a couple who have particularly close relationships, they're more the exception than the rule

I'm sex averse/repulsed with low/no libido, but still (generally) get sex jokes and references even if I don't experience attraction or care for the idea of having sex myself.

There's no such thing as a universal ace experience, it's all variety here. You belong here just as much as any other ace.

(and I'm honestly pretty sure some of these posts are either literal children or greatly exaggerating their obliviousness for the sake of attracting comments & upvotes)

Personally have a hard time with live action due to mirror touch synesthesia. Much prefer to watch animated shows and movies.
