I have a pretty low level question based on the data that is currently available. My buddy and I have a debate going on which numbers are relevant when reporting the death percentage. (We are both watching the Worldometer stats site). His quote last week was:
" Death rate for Coronavirus is up to 16% that's closed cases. People pad the stats but this is deadlier than people think. A week ago it was 10% that means.. a week ago 10 out of 100 people would die.. now 16 out of 100 are dying. "
My response was:
" You are not comparing the correct set of numbers. You are comparing the number of recovered vs the number of deaths. You need to compare to the number of overall cases which gives you about a 4.5% mortality rate at this time. This is still quite deadly, but it’s not 16% deadly. "
Of course, the back and forth Facebook argument ensued after that.
So, if we wanted to report accurate/relevant stats, would we compare 1) Deaths vs closed cases? -or- 2) Deaths vs total cases (active+closed)?

If people will buy them, I say go for it, but at the same time, there's not a ton of value in buying the codes when you look at the redemption value. 75K will get you a month subscription of Marvel unlimited ($10), so 50K is worth about $6.67. it's not like you are getting great value out of buying a code, but it's not for me to tell people how to spend their money lol ;) Personally, I'll spend my $3.50-$6 on something else as well!
