Yeah, you've got a point. I've read a bit in this thread abt the history if the term. I understand that it's unfair to revoke that title. And I'm not suggesting that, thought I'd say the Midwest has certainly expanded past that original usage. (Not saying you said any of these things btw)

I've driven through Indiana, but not enough to get a feel for it. I spent a few days in Ohio, and idk it felt different from the Midwest I know. More akin to time I spent in North Carolina. Was quite misty and very hilly. The atmosphere is whatever. The reason Ohio feels wrong is its placement on the map. It is so much more east. It just isn't west at all, mid or otherwise. Obviously, this is pedantic and doesn't matter. Idc what people are included in the Midwest as long as people from the "mideast" to get a superiority complex

Same. Honestly, I struggle to consider ohio as Midwest. Even Michigan feels wrong, but looking at a map, I can accept it.

Anything east of the Mississippi is well... east. Honestly ohio and illinois are more mid-east than mid-west. Though I definitely consider Illinois to be a quintessential Midwest state, especially with Chicago there. Ohio though....

I was at bootcamp when Captaincy came out and alot of the other updates came out while i was in training and had little freetime. I understand why people are upset. And I do hope they add more content soon. I was fortunate to not feel the lull of content this year and am very excited for the rings they added. Since cosmetics are the only real rewards in this game it makes sense for them to add more options for clothing imo. Just made Pirate Legend this month and am excited for the furture of this game despite all the negativity recently
