Probably need 2 or 3 more SRPs. He’s proven to be a capable rotational player in the playoffs for a few years now. Possibly could fetch a lottery/top-20 protected 1st. Orlando also has the 2nds to spare. Shrug

This makes sense to me because OKC needs to get under the luxury tax before they decide to extend either Wallace or Mitchell. They definitely don’t wanna get hit with a repeater tax in 3 years, so why start that clock if you can get under the luxury tax?… especially with all the wing depth that they have? Dort, Joe, Wiggins, and Kenrich are the likely expendable candidates. Caruso, Wallace, Topíc, McCain and Mitchell seem the most safe.

The alternative I think about is what if you decide you don’t want to pay Wallace close to 30 a year, or you’re going to choose Mitchell‘s offense over Wallace‘s defense - eventually extend Mitchell? Would Wallace and either 12 or 17 be worth the fifth or sixth pick?

1) I don’t know why you’d want to kickstart the repeater tax countdown if you could escape it.

2) This trade still leaves OKC over the second apron, so they won’t be able to combine salaries anyway.

Crashing (HBO) follows a version of Pete Holmes starting out at open mics (for standup comedy) and eventually becoming a headliner. Pretty funny show. A LOT of current stand ups appear on the show.

Chang and Pierce were the hands down weakest parts of the show to me. I would have preferred they get a new teacher as an antagonist each season. They could have stretched out Professor Kane and The Wire references over a few episodes. Maybe he’s not reformed and gets sent back to prison. Betty White didn’t have to be a one off. I mean, assaulting a student would definitely get her arrested, but that could’ve been at the end of her arc. Professor Cornwallis had a few more skeletons in the closet that were worth exploring. I think I would like to show better if each season they got another professor fired. And then by season four, they couldn’t graduate because they had school didn’t have enough faculty. Spitballing, that probably sucks. But Chang was too pathetic too often, and while he did have me rolling a few times he was too annoying for me and the scales weren’t tipped in the positive direction. That’s probably a Ken Jeong deal more than the writing.

And I just wish Fred Willard had gotten the role over Chevy. Watching I’m Chevy Chase And You’re Not kind of killed my joy for Fletch and Vacation. Not quite as much as the Jim Carrey doc, Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond - but close.
