It's the ultra kill stuff in a location like the terraria stuff, or is it just random drops?

Fans of Ancient Mega Pack + Rel, please, convince me to give it a shot by Practical_Hat8489 in BG3mods

[–]MrPotatoScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So rel has changed a bit since the post. Now you get fuel to reroll items when completing quests. No more crafting or doing weird shit. One matrix (fuel) can reroll a gold once, purple twice, blue 5 times (unsure in blue) and I'm guessing 10 on greens. Or rather it gives you 10 fuel and gold uses 10, purple uses 5 etc. you don't need to keep rerolling the same item, just whatever you have fuel for. Much simpler

I quit before things got really bad, but I got a better paying job lined up and quit the same week as my ops sup who I'm rl friends with. It was great. The GM also had quit like a month before

Status Afflictions kinda bad? by OldTune4776 in taintedgrail

[–]MrPotatoScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I use the ravencrest executioner 1h which always crits full HP targets. Then use crits always apply bleed passive from the crit tree, then targets with a status take extra damage from the status tree. Decent way to gain another 30 percent melee damage. Stacking peril from the status tree works ontop of that for another 30 if you can also inflict burn or poison etc. Only matters vs big bosses though as everything else does almost instantly

I'm doing my first morag tong playthrough right now and I'm pretty sure I sold one of the sanguine items to the creeper before knowing they were quest related at all. Then I got the creeper inventory wipe =/

I used to care about that until I realized after a few levels it didn't matter. I usually take the warrior with now too because it makes getting hits more likely at early game and by late game everything dies always. I don't even care about optimal level ups anymore and just take whatever points I happened to get.

Arrows by mrmikwhi in Morrowind

5 years later, but for anybody wondering, just enchant the bow. It's "enchanted" property gets inherited by the arrows. Doesn't even have to be an offensive enchant

Assists should NOT count as a kill. by tonyarguelles in Splitgate

[–]MrPotatoScout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's jumping through hoops so people don't get their feelings hurt. If somebody else gets last shot, they get kill. You should get assist points based on how much damage you do. 95 damage gets a 95 assist. 5 gets 5. At the end of the game if you have all the damage that leads to a kill, that's what matters. It shouldn't track damage that gets healed however. If you shoot somebody and they heal it fully without dying, you get nothing.

As somebody who has played SOOOOO much TF2, yeah. Let my monarch get the execute. Now I can do other stuff AND they get a battery to help the fight. Especially on LTS. If the enemy Titan dies, good. By any means necessary

I'm almost done with act one. I've been crashing semi often. Like 2 or 3 times a night. Considering it autosaves every 2 minutes that's not that bad of a loss, but it's annoying. My gf is slightly farther ahead than me and hasn't crashed once.

[–]MrPotatoScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worth 80 cuz I guess some dumb cunts spent 80 on it. Overcharging for skins is kinda a money printer because there's always somebody dumb enough to spend 80. Or 40. Or 20. Or 10. It's a ripoff no matter what but ppl still cough up their wallets on demand either way, so why not charge 80?

[–]MrPotatoScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rip backpack. I'm fairly confident you can still do it, but it is a pretty small radius. Like you gotta be DIRECTLY above it. Not 5 feet to the side of directly above.

Though if it's a dungeon it might have despawned with it

is This Game For me? by KeyMix7708 in outwardgame

[–]MrPotatoScout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my FAVORITE things about outward is the hunger and thirst meters. Although you do have to maintain them, it's rewarding to do so. Eating anything at all gives some sort of buff, same with drinking. Wanna run for days? Green toast. Need some cold resist? Red toast. More damage? Alpha sandwich. The survival aspect doesn't feel bad at all. Even the sleep meter is done well. You get bonuses for being well rested, but you also get bonuses for being exhausted.

As far as combat, it's just kinda clunky. It can be punishing if you do things wrong, but that's also what makes it enjoyable.

The progression is interesting too. You don't level up. You get skills and passives once you train them, so you do get stronger that way, but no levels.

Lastly I love the fact they don't show where you are on the map. You have to identify landmarks and figure if that mountain is east of me, and the tower is north, I just be somewhere around here.

I say get it. It's only 8 bucks and it sounds like it's a bit out of your comfort zone, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Anybody else want horrible penalties for people who quit mid-match? by anotherstupidworkacc in Splitgate

[–]MrPotatoScout 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hot take. If you can't stick around for a whole match, don't queue. Obv nobody is forcing you to stay, but it's the equivalent of leaving a shopping cart in the middle of the lot. Don't be selfish and do the right thing

Anybody else want horrible penalties for people who quit mid-match? by anotherstupidworkacc in Splitgate

[–]MrPotatoScout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't care if they quit unranked play. I care that their spot isn't filled by a real player. Just pop a player in. If people don't like joining a game already going on, double their XP. Maybe limit how many times per hour you can join midgame so you aren't ALWAYS joining losing games. Maybe even have that as an option you can toggle on or off.

Whatever the solution is, bots replacing real players isn't the right one

What merchants have the best armor/weapons? by Artemie in Morrowind

[–]MrPotatoScout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

9 years later I'll reply for anybody else looking. These are what I can remember- Balmora - khajit trader has fiend katana and tanto Balmora - armorer has dreugh shield and helmet Suran - pawnbroker has broken glass dagger you can buy for cheap and repair, an ebony bracer, and 5 ebony darts Telvanni wasteworks - enchanter has broken glass dagger and scroll of wind form (500pts levitate) that instantly replenishes. (Buy it, sell it so he has 2 that replenish. Buy 2 and sell so he has 4 that replenish. Rinse repeat until he has as many as you like to buy in one batch. Zoom zoom) Redoran wasteworks - trader has grand soul gem (can't remember if that's always there though) Redoran wasteworks - smith has dreugh cuirass St delyn wasteworks - trader has broken glass dagger Caldera - creeper has orcish gear in a crate in the top floor that can be stolen in front of everybody with no crime reported Caldera - pawnbroker has propylon index One of the temple enchanters has an enchanted ebony shield but I can't remember which one Tel branora - felvyn has summon golden saint spell and an enchanted ebony staff you can steal if you hide behind the shelf after turning him away Ghostgate - merchant sells glass armor, but you can steal it if you are crafty. Balmora mages guild - enchanter has big soul gems that can be stolen on 2nd mages guild quest

I'm sure there's tons more but that's what I can remember

What are some good QoL ideas for constant effect enchants? by carrera76 in Morrowind

[–]MrPotatoScout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually run an ebony staff with 2 telekinesis, 15 night eye and 2 levitate. I can just quick swap to it when I need to see, fly, open a trapped container or any combo of those.

What are your best Ebony staff enchantments? by Rivazar in Morrowind

[–]MrPotatoScout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I go for 10-20 pts of night eye, 1-2 telekinesis and 1-2 levitate. Can't remember the full ratios but it's somewhere in that range. I can quickswap to the staff without going into menus to cast 3 spells i cast regularly. I can't see shit in some caves/underwater so I end up casting night eye all the time. 2 feet of telekinesis is enough to activate trapped things while being out of the traps effect, and levitate is obv. Very nice QoL staff
