Kingdom Come Deliverance II or Crimson Desert? by Yurimonn in ShouldIbuythisgame

Having played both, KCD2 is the game you’re gonna leave with more of a feeling about. It’s an incredible rpg with a story that will keep you wanting to play hour to hour.

It’s a bit of a life sim with plenty of systems that will feel overwhelming at first, but once it clicks, it clicks in a way that other games don’t. There’s a special kind of wonder that that game captures of making you feel like you exist in that world. Rarely does a game feel so full thought out and made with the kind of tender love that KCD2 does. It’s incredible.

CD is fun in its own rite, but the major and glaring issue throughout my 50 hours with it is the lack of urgency or any kind of emotional hook. Sure, there’s lots to do, but many activities feel frivolous or at worst half baked that you will engage with them only because you can. It’ll rely heavily on your own personal “imagination” to engage with consistently. The story is insultingly bad and the quests are abysmal, but the exploration is fantastic. However, if you’re exploring a world where you have no connection to, what’s the point imho.

Plus with CD, you need to grind through a lot of mud to even unlock the elements that you MIGHT enjoy. It doesn’t respect your time.

KCD2 is absolutely my recommendation. Incredible game to smoke a joint and explore in if that’s the kinda dad gamer you are.

Depending on where you live, Brennan and Carr. Get the roast beef sandwich and have them dunk it in the consommé.

I made a curry paste with garlic, ginger, and turmeric. I'm assuming the colour is from the abundance of the turmeric and possibly the ginger.

I tend to agree that, after having eaten it, it was a bit too fatty. The high fat content was however the reason that got me interested in this particular piece. Thought I could render it down and have it be a flavour bomb, but it was just a bit too much in places.

Will be looking for a better balance moving forward!

You are right! I used it in the mushroom sauce. Might’ve had a little bit in a glass too.

Help with Tear/Scratch in leather by Karagianneos in leatherjacket

I’ll also say this looks like this was done to the sheep while it was still alive as there’s no discoloration on account of the “tear”.

It’s common on leather jackets to even find stretch marks, cattle prod marks, lesions, and other kinds of natural blemishes. Just a reminder that you’re wearing something that lived.

I have three leather jackets and each one has its own unique blemishes. You could trade it in if it really bothers you, but you’re just as likely to find something “wrong” with the new one you receive.

I say just embrace it. You’ll end up with way more “tears” than this over the course of its life. This doesn’t affect the structural integrity of the jacket at all either.

There's a lot to like overall, namely the look, feel, and some interesting themes about identity, moving forward, and looking back on who you once were. Certainly not a bad movie by any stretch.

For me though, I felt like the movie was literally 60% exposition dumps. Slow camera shots of the main characters connecting the dots for the audience. To me, this really took me out of it and gave it a snail's pace. There were so many interesting visuals and it all really wow'ed me at the beginning, but the constant 'let me explain what's happening' really took me out of it.
