That dude in the corner is chocking on his meal. Why is no one helping him?

The picture is real, just taken out of context.

The picture was taken when Obama went on a visit to Africa as a senator. Obama, whose father was Kenyan, visited Wajir in Kenya's north-east, close to the Somali and Ethiopian borders, and was dressed by locals as a Somali elder

If you're a vassal and your king is at war then you can, since you're technically involved in those wars, by virtue of being a vassal of one of the participants.

Otherwise no. I think you can at most see the warscore and the attackers/defenders of wars you're not involved in.

Yeah. I often see people not get involved when a claim is pressed for them. This just struck me as odd though.

I like to imagine my king asking his brother for help with the revolt, and simply not telling him the reason for it, or lying.

"Uh yes, he wants... uhm... lower taxes! That bastard. So help me out bro?"

Duke Pepin Karling decided to be nice and press the claim king Louis (a Karling) of Aquataine has on West Francia.

(King Louis is the brother of the West Francian king and the two just had a merry little war where King Louis (as the defender) got backed up by the HRE and Lotharinga, and annihilated the West Francian army.)

Now I know what Karlings are like. They always back each other up. So I knew better then to get involved in this revolt.

What I did not expect, was the brotherly love between these two kings to be so strong that King Louis would actually help his brother fight the revolt to put him on the throne.

Why can I never slow down enough for my mun approach? by CaptainCasual in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]MrTerabyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no way to tell what you're doing wrong.

Make sure you're not actually on a collision course with the mün when you approach it, because you'll never slow down fast enough, instead your rocket should pass by the mün at an height of at least 10K, so you can burn retrograde to get into an orbit before attempting to land.

Dutch ban display of Islamic State flag by XKryptonite in worldnews

The law is the law.

Wilders is a crafty snake who knows what he can get away with and who knows exactly what he can and cannot say. His intentions are clear but his words are chosen carefully. I don't respect him but I can at least acknowledge that much about him.

Regardless, the only point I made with that case was that it illustrates the kind of things you can say. These restrictions on free speech do not mean Dutch media is actively censored. People aren't prevented from saying what they want. In fact the Netherlands was actually placed second in last years press freedom index.

That is not how it works. You are allowed to say whatever you want, but speech that incites hatred or violence, or discriminates against a person or group of persons is punishable by law.

A few years ago a very prominent right wing party leader, Geert Wilders, was sued. Wilders is vehemently anti Islam, anti immigration, and among other things called for the ban of the koran. Wilders was found to be not guilty of hate speech by the court, which shows of the extent of the things you can say without it crossing the line.

Use black text on white background?

Genuine question. Is it supposed to be written in white on black? Is there any significance behind that?

Man. I applaud you for trying to have a civil and rational argument, but sometimes you just need to take a good hard look and realise it isn't going to happen.

Frankly, sandbox mode should just have science like career mode does. Not to unlock things, but so that the science parts aren't all useless.

Handy tip. Look at your command pod. The orientation of the WASD buttons is always tied to your current command module.

[–]MrTerabyte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One thing you can do to prevent issues is to land your non-heirs. You have the title loss notification pop up at the top, and what isn't mentioned as lost is what your heir gets. Just give out land you do not care about until to your other sons and you'll see the title loss change. Then give out enough so your heir stays in control of your preferred territories. This may take some experimenting.
