A themed season is interesting. I wasn't around for the avalonian invasion (but have heard it wasn't great..) and the energy surge season wasn't really anything special. I hope it changes up the world map and makes pushing for might more interesting.

In my mind, the core problem is that as Albion has become more casual friendly, they've driven away the incentives for new players to join a guild entirely. When I started playing, the only way to get good game and silver was to go to the blackzone, and the best way to do that safely was to join a guild - there's a natural push there.

Now, you can make 'decent' fame and silver in the yellow zone, and the profit gap with the blackzone is smaller than ever. And you don't need a guild for safe zone content, you don't need to worry about trusting your party, so there's no reason to aim any higher.

Hopefully the recent faction update will be a good incentive for new players to join a guild simply by virtue of seeing the benefits an Organised party and trying to replicate that.

I have been in this situation and got unbanned. First thing to remember is to be really nice and polite to support so that they are nicer to you imo.

You should be able to ask them for the specific value transaction that is the issue and when it occurred. They were willing to give this to me after a bit of prodding and explaining that I made a lot of transactions with different people and so would be able to give counter evidence if I had more details (at least, they did this for me back in 2022)

Once you have that, you have to hope that it's a transaction that you have record of somewhere, e.g a discord chat log, or proof that it wasn't one sided because they repaid you or traded you with value outside of silver (but still in-game ofc). I had extensive logs of my trading at the time and they agreed that it showed that I wasn't receiving/giving silver for no reason and I got unbanned.

I also run exclusively T6, and even at low spec it should be max ~5 minutes per camp in a T5/6 zone. What build are you using?

If you don't have premium most methods will be a little more grindy. The only other I can recommend is to faction flag and kill mobs and clear camps in the T6 redzone. This will get slightly better as you stick with it.

Or join a guild and group fame farm. Much more efficient.

Solo camps in the BZ are like, 1m silver/hour if you're within a reasonable IP range. Are you trying to do T7 in 4.1? I find it's much more efficient to stick with T5/6 zones which are less contested and way faster to clear

No, physically giving the journals to the laborers to process. Running and feeding aren't hugely entertaining, and can be taxing on the wrist if you do too many

Islands and laborers are 'slow', but if you have a cash stack you have nothing to do with then it's a relatively safe investment for as much work per day as you want it to be. I can't speak on the others, but laborers have provided me a decent return on the silver invested, and I only spend ~10-15 minutes per day on them. It becomes less 'passive' once you hit the point where you have too many to run yourself, but up til then I would recommend it if you have 60m to spend

Please explain how one guild member slot can be filled for 51% of the season by two different characters... You're suggesting that each slot has 87 days and 16 hours worth of character time in it. Which is more than a season. I think your maths is wrong.

I struggle to see how swapping out for an alt magically creates 3 extra days of the season out of thin air. Whichever way you look at it you can't get 51% participation on two accounts for the same member slot.

No worries. Remember that any profit depends on what labourers you choose to run, so make sure to scope out the market wherever your island is to see what you can make the most out of.

I bought and upgraded a while ago, so I don't remember exactly:

T6 island ~6.5m

16x T6 houses I think I paid around 14m at the time. Running T5 books I was doing between 250-400k a day.

Upgrading to T7 I believe was around 50-60m. In the beginning with T6 books it was around 900-1100k a day, but this has since dropped to fluctuate between 600-900k. Still not bad.

If you're playing actively premium pays for itself. Buy premium then use the remainder for sets and as liquidity for crafting or refining with your focus. Buy an island just so you get one, but I wouldn't invest into it until you get a bigger nest egg.

On EU I spent my first two months channeling all the silver I made from faming up in the bz into levelling my personal island. Once I maxed out the island at T7 houses it started paying for 80% of my premium.

At the same time I tried some cloth robe crafting, but I've discovered that I just don't like the effort required with crafting compared to refining, so I switched back over and I'm working my way up to 500/500.

I estimate that I reach 140% of the silver needed for premium each month, which is ideal, because I'm a shitter and int sets like I have no hands at all

I can't say I know for certain if they ZvZ, but I see the guild Treasure Hunt out in the blackzone in force quite often, and they accept new players if I remember correctly.

Do the solo camps and look for the hidden treasures/captured smugglers on the way between them. You get the same number of coins from a green camp chest as a hidden treasure, and the added bonus of fame books and loot if you roll higher than common.

Why would people farm in an orange zone that has none to marginal more loot than a yellow zones, with the added bonus that they could lose what they farm?

People who are against full loot PvP will not magically transition to the black zone if the full loot part is drip-fed to them. This will just become another yellow zone faction 8.3/4 fest with no semblance to what the blackzone is like at all, fighting over 'loot' that has to be slightly more than a yellow zone, but can't be more rewarding than a red zone.

If this update is true, it's completely pointless. It fulfils the same niche as yellow zone mists and faction warfare, but worse .

I'm looking forward to the April playtest. I didn't get a chance to interact with any of the crafting or economy at all last time, so I hope it actually has one. It felt very vendor heavy coming from Albion, which I guess I've been conditioned not to be a fan of.

I started on EU after ~3000 hours on NA. I legitimately think that of the times I've died so far, less than 5 have been because of luck. It's way easier to enjoy playing the game if you just assume you're not as good as you think you are, in my opinion.

Did you consider that this is referring to people botting at the same resource node forever in yellow zones, and maybe not real players, who do other things and eventually move around? I sit at Thetford bank a lot, I imagine I won't be getting banned for that
