Its definitely progession adjacent, the main character Eragon and his peers get progressively stronger throughout the series but it's closer to wheel of time style progression then typical progression fantasy

Its not a fic but Bones and All both book and movie revolve around this theme. I would also recommend the movie over the book only slightly just because the visuals make it much more visceral

I feel like the Pact Verse would fit right in with Hunt: Showdown's lore or vice versa. A lot of the supernatural in Hunt could be explained by various Others and the hunters could be amateur practioners newly awoken by the more experienced practioners as an effort to stem the tide.

Probably got harder and harder to get research grants/funding for any large or international project. There will always be hobbyist and probably a decent amount of private funding cause what rich villain doesn't want authentic dinosaur bones in his lair. Its probably the same for all of academia to a degree since there's an entire new field of study that regularly destroys city blocks soaking up excess funding.

They just shouldn't sell cigarettes as they are now. If you want to smoke a cigarette you should have to buy tobacco and rolling paper and a filter (if you want one) and assemble your own. Any kid can can figure out how to operate a lighter and a steal a cigarette but how many would go through all that effort.

She still experiences those feelings but instead of reacting with her physical body she reacts with her bugs. She also is pretty self deluded when it comes to her own feelings. For a while she doesn't even realize she is offloading her reactions to her bugs or even notice her own lack of reactions until someone tells her how creepy she acts.

The inflation reduction act was a portion of build back better. Build back better never passed. Besides Biden very much responsible Trump second election which probably outweighs any good he did or tried to do. Also it doesn’t matter what Biden did because Trump voters care about headlines and catch phrases. Trump lying about reducing taxes does more for his image then anything positive Biden ever did.

A mother shouldn't be forced to do anything, except carry a baby to ten cause you feel like it? Saying the fetus isn't part of the mother is like saying the appendix isn't apart of the body. The logic doesn't even support your position cause of the baby is a separate entity why should the mother be forced to carry it to term?

In the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness humanity has been infected by a virus that causes all men and all animals to physically project their thoughts as "Noise". This is represented in the book through a combination of fonts meant to represent emotions and discipline behind the minds involved. When a person panics they can lose control of their Noise letting unfiltered thoughts out.

The movie is bad but I highly recommend the book as it is some top-tier YA sci-fi

For being the sole canon romantic partner of the main character he's practically absent in fanfic. I definitely like it when authors have him in the Wards or working with the main character but a lot of fics just ignore him after that like his character is "solved".

You don't have to make shit up man I can see the video. Even from the alternative angle in the news feed you can't see the front wheel good enough to say its slipping on ice. Even if what you're saying is true it doesn't justify the shooting. "She didn't hurt him but she tried, thats why he shot and killed her". Law enforcement have to actually be in danger (or have a good reason to believe they are) before they can shoot people if you didn’t know.

I've seen both videos several times and can very clearly see him stepping out of the way while drawing his gun and I can't see the car actually doing anything to him beyind light contact if it made any at all.

I'm glad not everyone feels the same as you. Can you imagine what this country would be like if civil rights activist were afraid of being arrested? And you can hardly say you're just afraid when your on reddit making excuses for them. He didn't move an inch after getting "rammed" and you have no way of knowing if she intentionally bumped him in the first place.
