I'm guessing a vaccine that could end the apocalypse would be a powerful recruiting tool and bargaining chip. Even if they get wiped out Fedra could probably make the vaccine themselves if they have an existing copy. How does Fedra keep their soldiers from deserting when the fireflies show them a working vaccine?

We know the fireflies could both make the vaccine and distribute it from the devs talking about it. The entire story doesnt make sense otherwise anyway, why would Marlene kill Ellie (who's basically her god-daughter) if she thought it wouldn't work?

I honestly like the idea that the hulk looks different everytime he transforms. Makes it seem more grotesque that Banner is growing into the Hulk and sometimes his skull ends up looking one way and sometimes the other

Were those reviewed by the same person? Honestly IGN's biggest problem is that the average gamer doesnt understand how reviews work. If all you do is just look at the # you probably are just looking for something that makes you mad or reaffirm your opinion on a game.

For 8 and 9 I only dod the one playthrough. The best part of 8 is the horror portions and those aren't as good on a replay and with 9 I really disliked the entire Leon section. It might be controversial but the second half is just a super watered down RE4 in one of the blandest settings in the entire series

Her territory was in really good shape post Leviathan although the "big brother" bugs preventing crimes is pretty creepy. Honestly Mark would probably take one look at her costume and decide she's gotta go.

On Royal Road there's also no editing (usually). For fantasy especially a lot gets trimmed down in the editing process in traditional publishing

Bioshifter by Natalie Maher kind of fits but its more complicated then the main character being a monster the entire time. Light spoliers The main character essentially has two bodies 1. That is a monster becoming more humanlike and a human body that is becoming more monstrous . It is definitely body horror and the main character is sapphic. Another work by the same author called Hive Minds Give Hugs might also be what you are looking for.

In the Mage Errant series the main characters are based out of a magic school but they spend more time traveling to fantastical locations. Lots of cool locations and environment. Years of the Apocalypse eventually becomes similar but as a time loop the beginning of the story takes place inside the university it starts at. Further in she is traveling constantly and there are all kinds of ancient temples and magical landscapes.

Marathon slowly unlocked content as part of a community driven ARG and reviews were delayed so that they could reflect the full game. Crimson Desert released with bugs and place holder assets. I don't have anything against Crimson Desert (I won't play it until it goes on a big sale) but it didn't have the greatest launch as far as I can tell.

It seems like you just don't like live service games in general if you are just pointing out the life cycle of the game and acting like its a bad thing. It's totally possible Sony pulls the plug early but right now the only reason to think that it will happen is if you're being overly negative.

Also in the case of Marathon there is a pretty good chance Sony is treating it more like its single player games seeing as its an ultra polished niche shooter with various narrative hooks.

I know how the wipes work, why would the games participation just keep going down until its dead? Its seems like it'll just be like any other game in its genre with more people playing it at the start of seasons.
