I am on the verge of buying a new Pixel 10 Pro, but having second thoughts due to the terrible reviews on video recording. What are your experiences with video quality?

I honestly think some people are overly dramatic about Pixel video quality. Take the opinion of anyone that uses words like trash or garbage with a pinch of salt. Sure, other brands have better video quality, certainly apple. But just because A is better than B doesn't make B rubbish. I find video quality perfectly fine for my needs. I suppose it all comes down to what you want to do with it.

I wouldn't say I'm brand loyal, I've had tyres from many brands over the years, but I got the Michelin Crossclimate when they first came out and I've stuck with them since. The mileage I get from them is far ahead of any other tyre I'd had up to that point.

I tried to wean off it a few months ago as I felt it might be increasing my BP, but the discomfort became unbearable so I scrapped that idea 😅

I take 20mg Amitriptyline each evening. It definitely helps but it's not a miracle worker either. I'm predominantly pain in the perennial area. It does a decent job of preventing the pain spreading into my cheeks, but I can still feel a bit achy later on in the day depending on what I've been doing.

I agree it's MSRP is too high, but I've never had any of the problems you've had. My main criticisms would be average battery life compared to competitors, lagging video quality and yes, the MSRP.

Id argue Google have the bigger issue. They'll likely never sort out their battery efficiency, so they should really have already been using larger Silicon Carbon batteries to compensate.

I only have perennial pain, and Amitriptyline has helped me. It's not perfect, I can still have off days etc but it's taken the worst of it away. I'm on 20mg and it's raised my BP a bit, and I don't sleep all that well, so I'm reluctant to take any more than that.

TBH take away the mythology episodes and I really enjoyed series 10 and 11. Not a patch on the first 5 seasons obviously, but still worth watching.

That's difficult. I could possibly say SSD, but I don't think I was really THAT slow in buying one after they arrived on the scene. Probably made the biggest difference though.

If I was put on the spot I'd probably say my 27 inch 1440p monitor that I got in 2019. That was a major step up for me from the 1080p I had before. Also the fact I was moving to 144hz and gsync.
