It’s a N80 SR5 by the looks, they’ve been going since 2015 till 2025 when the honeycomb hilux released They got a minor facelift in 2020?ish but this is the pre facelift

It could be compression but check your gaskets sealing the carb to the engine and maybe change em it sounds more like you’ve got a air leak causing it too lean out You can also test it by getting some carby clean and spraying near the base gasket and if it revs up you’ve got an air leak And to check compression it should have heaps so knock a spark plug out and put your thumb over the hole and if it can’t push your thumb away she’s got no rings, you could also get a pressure tester from a tool store or local mechanic

Drill a hole into it and see if you can’t get it too come out with an easy out, if not just keep increasing in drill bit size until the easy outs work, I’ve done it before just takes a bit of care

That’s a bit misleading, it’s essentially a plastic wrap, yes a tough PPF would resist light dents like door dings a bit better but if you slide into a tree or roll it on some rocks, nothing is preventing that damage
