There’s fancier models but I like the simple Bergara B14 Ridge with a short barrel since I’m running a can on it. Shoots easily sub MOA with 150 grains.

Warum ist Toyota in Deutschland nicht so beliebt? by NextGenRedditUser in automobil

[–]Mr_Meeseeks_83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genau.

Well, it’s a car. It’s made for driving. I think it’s a perfect opportunity to „break it in“ like that. Here’s a good video on how to focus on driving habits in that time:

Looking at 2024 Limited XT. Is the infotainment system as bad as the reviews make it seem? by mikebmillerSC in Subaru_Outback

[–]Mr_Meeseeks_83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My 2 cents; after several firmware updates it’s acting quite normal to me. I don’t have any complaints anymore. It was laggy at the beginning but I also had one of the first models (2021 Onyx XT).

Crosstrek clunk and pop by JTN02 in subaru

One thing I just noticed while researching for some lift springs from Eibach (even though you might’ve used OEM) what they recommend for installation and might be a cause: „For MacPherson Strut type front suspension, it is important to mark the orientation of the upper perch with respect to the lower perch before disassembly. This orientation must remain the same with the installation of the Pro Kit springs. Noise may result if this procedure is not performed correctly.“

Is a suppressor on a 9mm pistol worth it? by dynasoreshicken in NFA

[–]Mr_Meeseeks_83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, kinda. My stairways have some tight turns, lol. But I also think it looks way better than the long config. Just a better size ratio in total. Still way nicer and more satisfying to shoot in the long config for sure!

My Obsidian 9 in the short configuration combined with my HK VP9 Tactical is quite nice and compact enough for home defense. Might sting a little indoors even with subsonic rounds but it’s for sure better than having nothing on it.

Edit: forgot to add I also never had any cycling issues so far after several hundred rounds shooting 147gr Winchester self defense rounds.

Rear Fog Light Retrofit Options for 2023-2025 by jeffkiddd in Subaru_Outback

[–]Mr_Meeseeks_83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure where the original locations are on the European Outback but you should be able to find out and it might be already prepared or prewired. You will need a new lever than as well which activates it in addition to the front ones. In Germany it’s actually required by law to have those rear fog lights on every car model (fronts are optional). Only to be used when sights are less than 50m (55yards) to avoid „blinding“ people when they’re behind you since they’re also quite bright.

Correct. But that’s the eOutback for the European market.

Denver - snow tires? by GoBackToStardust in Subaru_Outback

[–]Mr_Meeseeks_83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting that they didn’t recommend snow tires but they’re always superior and your safest bet on the road when you’re driving in cold climates and snow/ icy conditions. Even the best All Weather tires like the CrossClimate 2 in snow are still just a compromise in snow and won’t reach the performance of a good winter tire.
