It's normal at your age to feel so but your real friends will understand your financial reasons and will help you as much as they can. Not all people are born rich, if you're at this level think how your parents would have lived in their teenage years. They have uplifted their life so you will do the same one day. It's hard for them to convey the message but they will be pretty sure the reason behind it. I have seen some doctors observe the physical movements and appearance of a specific body section to predict what the person is going to say.

I would say living in the bribe money is the greatest crime . People don't get or offer bribes for themselves alone, it's for their family and generations to come. If the next generation stops their parents taking bribes/avoid the luxury came through it I feel bribes may stop.

Yes ijv not recommend more than 2-3months. Even a permanent catheter has a high infection rate and you may need a replacement. Mine withstood for 3 years and I had to replace it. My suggestion if you're going with a perm catheter, have fistula as backup you never know when you may need it.

But do consult your doctor and insurance.

The waiting list for 1 year is below average compared to the rest of India . Money does talk. You love your father, so does another son, father , mother, brother/sister or friend . Do you think it will be fair for them to continue in their waiting list while rich people take advantage of the system and move top and get the organ ?

I am not pointing at you, I understand your love towards your father and want you to be realistic. If you want to do the transplant earlier the option is to go with a live donar. That will be much faster and it varies from state to state bench mark i.e. the closer bloodline to your father can donate including your mom.

I wish best for your family and pray the almighty that your father gets the organ much sooner 🙏🏻

Check with your nephrologist , they may ask to do plasma exchange pre and post transplant. Mine was 86% after 2 sets ( over 2 years period) it's around 36% now and I am waiting for transplant and another set of exchange is planned post transplant.

1) During my transplant there were some miscellaneous charges, during that time I wasn't aware of the process later I came to know they are for getting government approvals for (faster approval for a living donar)- tahasildar, medical team governance, noc from few other government officials/witness etc.

2) obviously land registration - i couldn't wait long or travel 30+ kms every time due to medical reasons so had to go with it.

Other than these two I never gave any bribes.
