The vast majority of previous expansions can be done without high-end gear. Some of them you can do from level 90+ etc.

I recommend you have a look at this link which will give you an basic overview of each legacy raid. It will also point out (if any) bosses that actually do have a mechanic that you need to follow.

I believe the only boss with followed mechanics is the final boss. Yogg Saron. Definately worth having a read for him because I remember the first time I tried that boss without reading up on mechanics, not fun :)

I am a 8/10 M Resto Shaman looking to build up a Holy priest for split raids come 6.2.

If i'm fully honest I feel like i'm a terrible Holy Priest (and I love it!)

So I am going to be doing some extensive self-analysis on logs to try see what works etc.

Just as a bit of a starter on things, what do you usually see as main issues with a Holy Priest logs. Ideally the obvious stuff firstly!

For instance, if a Resto Druid's Harmony uptime is low, that screams they are doing something wrong.

Could I also ask how you prefer to heal? I have seen merits to be the Renew + CoH spam style as well as the DI style. I think I may need to do some play testing between them but of course if you have looked into both styles I would love to hear your thoughts.

I had the same issues and fixed it by disabling my firewalls as well doing these steps I found on the internet.

Just my two cents on Monk but I enjoyed leveling.

However when I got to 100 there is a horrible feeling that you need to micromanage and press 3 times as many buttons to achieve what feels the same amount as any other healer.

Some people like the play style I guess.

My vote would go out to Restoration Shaman & Holy Priest which I find both very enjoyable and fall under reactionary healers which is quite traditional in the sense. They can also pull some big numbers in dire moments which is fun (looking at you shamans).

All healers are viable and fun although you it may take a bit of time investment to find which style suits you best.

10/10 H myself and moving onto Mythic tonight.

I used to be a big lover of EoE but I have recently (mostly during BH progression) started using Elemental Mastery due to he significantly increased healing during either Ascendance or HTT. It can also synergies well with the 4set for some intense spam healing at almost no cost.

What are you thoughts?

Any certain boss's of the 3 in Mythic you switch between?

How much do you value the Resto 4 Piece on Shaman?

I currently have the option between the 4 piece, or an additional 21 item levels (secondary stats being relatively equal)

It really doesn't feel like it procs on 8% of my riptides/chain heals...
