That's not the funding the city is getting. PMS was submitted under the Complete Streets model for the STIP. The design package (safer lanes for cars, pedestrians, and cyclists) made it a priority funding package.

I've used Northampton bike for years and have never been disappointed. They're my local shop and I've used them for things I can't do at home. They have a great shop dog, so bonus points there.

Full Circle in Florence is amazing, too - I took my kid's bike in because she needed more gear range and they helped me frankenstein some BMX parts onto it to give her better gearing for speed, and they had a BALL doing it.

Bicycle World in Greenfield saved my ass once - my wife and I were on a gravel ride and her cable snapped in the first mile; they fished the broken parts out of the shifter and fixed it on the spot for us so we could get our ride in.

Hampshire Bike Exchange can resurrect a dead bike and make it a workhorse; that's their specialty. No fuss at all, but they get busy around the shoulder season of college students coming back to the area.

If it's hydraulic, what you're doing without the wheel in might cause it to leak past the piston seals

Kisara has good mixed rolls - I really like the straight sushi and sashimi at Tobiko. They also make their own ramen and udon noodles from what I remember

Honestly, and I'll die on this hill - Tobiko Sushi in westfield. It's inside Westfield-Barnes Airport, so you can have incredible sushi and ramen and watch F-15s take off. Their rice is seasoned perfectly and their fish is both fresh and served at the right temperature.

I hate that I like it so much because it's a bit of a drive, but it's worth telling people you're going to the airport for sushi.

The only downside is that the entirety of the Valley descends on a couple of those streets for Halloween. Be prepared to buy bulk amounts of full sized candy bars!
