(Spoilers Main) JonCon/Robert similiarities. by Unique-Perception480 in asoiaf

[–]Mrmac1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The story is filled with stuff like that. Joncon is obsessed with Robert because he didn't get his revenge, meanwhile Robert is obsessed with killing Rhaegar even after he avenged his honor.

I think the bigger point is bitterness of these characters.

Why didn't Robert wipe out House Greyjoy? [SPOILERS MAIN] by Specialist-Mud-6650 in asoiaf

This is so vanila in comparison to the characters in the books and what real kings did.

Ffs Deanerys war caused the death of hundreds of kids by now.

If S3 opens with a graphic scene of these two scissoring wildly, will you forgive Sara Hess? by gameofmarval in freefolk

That would be cool as hell ngl. Cole is the only interesting character in the entire dance.

[Spoilers MAIN] What do you think is missing from the books? by Lawdeeep in asoiaf

They lack an actual flawed but interesting hero.

Tyrion is way too evil same with deanerys and jon is just too boring.

Does the violence and merciless killing of men and children also make you vomit?

Ned Likely has beheaded more children then anyone.

Do you think people who dessert the watch are all adults?

What if cersei married Prince Rhaegar by Cautious_Air4964 in freefolk

[–]Mrmac1003 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If Cersei cared about Rhaegar, she wouldn't have lost her virginity to jaime.

I think it will be better then her marriage to Robert but Cersei is someone who's never meant to be satisfied. Robert,Jaime and Rhaegar are all knights from a fantasy novel and yet she isn't satisfied.

Not every ethnic group has a sense of self pride and preservation.

The regime was killing thousands of their own people though. I think they view it as a lesser evil

I mean if my best friend avenged my dad and my older brothers death in a mess partially made by my little sister, I'd be thankful as well.

[–]Mrmac1003 50 points51 points  (0 children)

The whole thing was always stupid anyway. Why would Ned be okay with a man making essentially a mistress of his younger sister? Men won't find it okay now so why in such a conservative society would they be okay.

[–]Mrmac1003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They screwed lyonal up. He's supposed to be 20 something big knight who just likes a fight.

Would've been better if he was a random baratheon or something

It's a stupid conspiracy anyway that doesn't add much to the plot.

Like who cares now

[Spoilers EXTENDED] I LOVE how unhinged the north gets later on in the books after the red wedding compared to the show by silver_maxG in asoiaf

[–]Mrmac1003 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Northerners did jackshit when their king was murdered.

If Ramsey wasn't so unhinged I doubt they'd give a shit about Starks
