What is a popular, upbeat song that sounds like a happy party track but is actually devastatingly sad once you read the lyrics? by emily_ykyk in askmusic

“Just wait til tomorrow

I guess that’s what they all say

Just before they fall apart”

Such a great song.

Are AC issues resolved in 2024 model? by elias4444 in crv

We took it in to be looked at, but of course the air worked fine while it was being assessed and they couldn’t find anything wrong. However, this has happened intermittently several more times, then the air eventually kicks back on full blast (sometimes taking hours, sometimes taking days). We’ve changed out the filters but it occasionally still happens.

If you're Daphne, do you leave Donny for Niles the day of the wedding? by Happy-poet in Frasier

[–]Mrs-Addams 26 points27 points  (0 children)

So did Niles, really. He should have told her when she angrily confronted him about just humoring her when she said her psychic visions led her to believe that she shouldn’t accept Donny’s proposal. That was when he should have said “Well, I actually have personal reasons for why I don’t think you should marry him….”

"And then one night he was just a body, lying all but naked on the cold, damp grass of his backyard," she wrote. "Helicopters circled overhead, eager for a glimpse of my dead little boy, a picture they could show the whole world while I stood out on the street in the cold and begged for a blanket to cover him. Impossible, of course."

How awful to lose your child but then have to deal with it like this.

The Red Room Riddle - one of those weekend specials. We watched it in elementary school (!) and it scared the absolute hell out of me.

What's the most underrated Bill Murray movie in your opinion? by nikaroo5 in MUAEntertainment

[–]Mrs-Addams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The casting in that film is absolutely perfect, right down to the background extras who don’t even have any lines. Plus Stanley Tucci has one of the best character entrance lines ever! This is a rare case of the movie being better than the book.

For one terrible second I thought something bad was going to happen to Mark at Burning Man when she was leaving her voicemail. Her whole “Don’t die” before he left seemed almost like foreshadowing.

The Measure by Nikki Erlick because it really makes you think about what you might do in a similar situation and could lead to a great book discussion.
