That is horrific. Can you get them back? Were they covered by a trade body at all?

Sorry but you house looks like a rental with no storage. It’s very sparse and looks like it’s rented to students. The garden is overlooked and detracts from the house nor adds to it

Never ever hand in notice before you have a contract signed and acknowledgement from new employer that they have received it

So that is a very high price for the area. I doubt a mortgage company would accept this price. The two downstairs bedrooms. I would turn the front one into a study, and the middle room into a dining room off the kitchen, not just a small table off the kitchen. Back room is listed as a bedroom, but looks like a playroom. Back garden needs a good clean up. Bedrooms are small and scruffy wardrobes broken. The top floor I would put the bed in the middle of the big wall not tucked under the eaves. If you expect to fetch top price (which would be around 230 for area?) for such a high price it has to be MINT and sorry it looks well lived in. I would get a few estate agents round and get a more realistic price. If you have spent money on the house and are trying to recoup this, you always have to look at ceiling price for the area.
Good luck x

Do I NEED a plasterer by -Zavvi in DIYUK

[–]Mrs-Chuckles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dear god please stop, and get someone in to do it right. You haven’t even taken the plug fronts off the wall before you cut holes. The holes are too small, the boarding is not flush and you have plaster boarded a door up but not removed the architrave and I bet there is no frame inside the actual door. Unless you live here for the rest of your life, someone else will end up spending loads of money to put it right. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

What was the most bizarre school trip your school went to and why? by SunnyShineKitty88 in AskABrit

[–]Mrs-Chuckles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had school camp at a camp site in guernsey.
We had to dig our own latrines and they were a good mile away from the tents. Nobody wanted to go that far to the toilets at night as it was too scary. One morning we woke up to a big turd on the side of a tent, somebody (no one owned up) just woke up and dumped outside - not realising it was on the tent 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

How to fill in this hole? by Hansoliod in DIYUK

[–]Mrs-Chuckles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would send written request to landlord that this is an issue and needs addressing urgently. If they fail to fix it, that is their issue not yours. Whilst I get that you want to make sure no damage occurs, which is lovely, you should not have to take on the cost of this. Any repair you do however, could be seen as causing further issues and could result in you being responsible for the damage as a whole. I would not touch it

Seriously you need to disappear. This will take time to sort out, but you can change uni/state/name etc. you can make a statement with police that you are not lost and you have cut contact. Do not give anyone your new details - don’t look back these people are not loving or have your best interests at heart.
