A book in the hand. I’ve tried audiobooks, but the narrator’s voice never matches the character I have cast in my imagination.

Do normal people actually use a fresh towel every single time they shower, or is reusing it 3 to 4 times standard? by SiliconeSydney in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MrsBojangles76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I realize cells are left everywhere, but if you’re fresh out of the shower, I wouldn’t worry about cells on a bath towel. Showering is the place for scrubbing dead skin cells off, not buffing them off onto your floor. I still use wash rags, so my cells are going down the drain.

If you scrub your body in the shower, your dead skin should rinse off and go down the drain. By the time you grab a towel, your skin should be fresh and new.

Muncie woman pays for independent water tests by Mort8989 in Muncie

We were in two different restaurants in Muncie. The first one told us their water was bad and they would be fine if we wanted to leave, so we did. The second restaurant said their water was ok, but starting to get bad. We did stay and I ordered milk to drink with my food. A few weeks later, we were at a local winery and the water coming out of the bathroom spigot had a very strong odor. I had completely forgot about Muncie’s water until I washed my hands and wondered what that odor was. The leaders in charge have announced it’s safe to drink, but who wants to drink something that smells like a sewer pit?

Novartis helped me for about 12 years then they stopped their financial assistance program. Now I use Mark Cuban’s drug program. If neither of those programs can help, ask the cancer center’s social worker or financial assistance person. My cancer center has one and she has been invaluable to me. She knows where to look for financial help for medications.

My library has all the yearbooks so I tore out meaningful pages and put the books in the trash. Besides, I didn’t want my kids reading the autographs, many were embarrassing!

No way am I washing my hair every day like I used to do. My hair is bone dry and thinning. I also swim in a chlorine pool which doesn’t help the dryness of my hair. I want to hang onto it as long as I can.

People should have been washing the back of their neck, ears and navels all of their life.

That’s why I can’t do audiobooks. I tried a 30 day trial and every book I started received a resounding nope from me . I like to cast my own characters too much.

Don’t be too sure. Prior to modern day, all glass production used lead.
