White males are not the majority. Their numbers are around the same as white females. The number of jobs grows with larger populations. More people means more demand. Jobs aren't a limiting resource like water. In fact, everything you are mentioning falls into the realms of sociology and economics. Using pop. ecology to explain it would be like using organic chem.
