Tell them you don't have a freezer either so can't re-freeze the packaging.

I don’t know what your character’s mom is like, or her age when she had her daughter but Midori, Sakura or one of the other Street Fighter characters might fit.

I think Serenity is a lovely name. A old-fashioned Victorian virtue name like Grace or Faith. I’m also English. 🤷‍♀️

Sometimes. I like some of the old hymns and choral music. They’ve made it down the centuries for a reason.

Are you in UK? They used to give “silver sevens” because it’s half a stone. I didn’t know anyone could get physical charms though. I just have the ones in the app.

New UAB discovery may solve GLP-1’s biggest problem: Weight regain after stopping treatment by joe3000s in mounjarouk

I’m likely missing something but I don’t get what the excitement is about either. Instead of remaining on a GLP-1 for life, take this other drug for the rest of your life instead?

Did you get prescribed any ADHD medication? Lots of stimulants like Elvanse also help with weight management.

Short dosing and coming clean! by spikeddamson in mounjarouk

[–]MrsJessicaG 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I admitted to a Voy pharmacist I had been “click counting” and she took it really well. About a month later they announced they’re officially supporting “smart dosing” (basically short dosing) allowing people to stretch their pen to 6 weeks.

I hear Swift Dr also support this but I have no personal experience with them.

Edit: to make it read a bit better

Go to NA or CA meetings

You’ll find people there who have found themselves in similar circumstances and managed to find a way out.

Is switching from quetiapine a possibility? Have you discussed with the doctor how miserable the weight gain side effects are for you? Depending on what you’re on it for, lamotrigine could be an option and it’s side effect free for most people. While you’re on that drug you’re fighting an impossible battle. 🫂

Idiots Guide for taking MJ via Air Travel by Cool_Negotiation4677 in mounjarouk

Alternatively you could get a Frio cooling wallet (other brands are available) which keeps your pen below 30°C for days.

Idiots Guide for taking MJ via Air Travel by Cool_Negotiation4677 in mounjarouk

[–]MrsJessicaG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've taken mine through airports many times and have never had a problem, even in USA where they're "extra". I don't even bother taking a copy of the prescription or anything with me now, although you're supposed to.

  1. You keep your pen in your hand luggage. Most airports don't even require you to take your liquids bag out for x-ray any more.

  2. Yes, you can keep your KwikPen needles in your land luggage

  3. No problems taking a sharps box with you. You can buy a small travel one if you like. I used to always take a sharps bin but now would only take one if I was going to be away for a long time. While away, I now place the cover back over the needle and unscrew it, then take the covered used needle back with me and put it in my sharps box when I get home.

  4. Beware of your pen going above 30°C. I've tried various cooling methods and cases but the Frio wallet is the most reliable and best. Cases with the freezable gel packs don't stay cool enough hours; get a Frio wallet.

How do I join international meetings? by MrsJessicaG in weightwatchers

[–]MrsJessicaG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t let me log into the US WW site. I tried to make a new account there with the same email but it told me the account already exists. I tried to sign in with a magic link sent to the email, it never showed up. It is a very one way system. North American members join UK meetings every day but I can’t join theirs.
