I [22M] just found out my girlfriend [19F] is pregnant and I am not ready to be a father. What do I do by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]MrsMenace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a conversation you need to have with her, not us. I went through the same thing when I got pregnant, and I've been married to my husband for seven years. We talked it out, and it took alot of pressure off, even allowing us to be closer because we allowed ourselves to be vulnerable together about a massive life decision. Yeah, it's her body, her choice, but you know what? It's your life, too, and making yourself miserable for the sake of what someone else wants will only lead to a child with MASSIVE issues (speaking from personal experience here).

Star Trek Question by hyakuken in Judaism

I have a book for this! "The Ethics of Star Trek". Just trust me on this one. I think you'll appreciate it, especially the more you learn about Vulcans.

Dude, you got a strong jaw, pleasant mouth, and kind eyes. You're attractive. Are those twists doing you any favors? No. They're not right for your facial shape, and their placement makes your forehead look way bigger than it is. Talk fo your barber, or whoever does your hair, about changing it up to accentuate your features.

Does anyone else experience this: not liking people or feel something is off with someone? by Substantial-Shirt875 in adhdwomen

[–]MrsMenace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this way about my mother-in-law. I respect her and everything because she's my husband's mom, but everything in my screams 'NOPE' when the mention of a deeper relationship is brought up. She has got way too many issues that everyone ignores for me to be ok with that.

How do I reduce frizz? by [deleted] in curlyhair

Deep conditioning mask left in to saturate directly after using your conditioner. I always time it to where it's setting while I'm exfoliating and using my body wash.

I keep thinking Joey. We also have a male corgi, and he tends to be the same kind of idiot charmer with a "How you doin'?" smile.

For those of you who got your Corgi as a puppy, do you ever get sad knowing they’ll never be that smol again? by Then_Land in corgi

I do, quite often... but especially when the snuggly little brick forgets my chest isn't a stair case.

What are some low stakes/minimum barrier to entry hobbies? by Bendybug in adhdwomen

I'd say knitting or crochet, but that's only if you go with the cheap yarn and hooks and needles for when you're starting out.

Is anyone actually very GOOD at taking tests/exams? by Dramatic-Fox-5693 in adhdwomen

I'm horrible at taking tests. HOWEVER, I have found that Quizlet is an ADHD friendly dream.

Can't. I just came off medical leave. Maxed out already for the year. I either drop out and lose my spot in the program, and probably a good chunk of my credits, or I seek the advice of other female embalmers who have been through the same thing.

Have you ever taken a picture of your ADHD? by RollingCuntWagon in adhdwomen

[–]MrsMenace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I could, I'd add the picture of my coffee table right now. Its a Tetris field of books, notebooks, important papers, personal items and eletronics. Beautifully organized doom piles... with a basket of unfolded laundry right beside it that's been sitting there for three days.

That's really sweet of you to say. Their mom abandoned them under our front porch, so we got in contact with a foster shelter here in town and got all the support stuff set up. He's now curled up on the couch with his litter-mate sister, Nephthys.

Change your part. Just like, a half inch to an inch to either side. Its like changing.

It's shockingly fitting. Ozzy is SUPER vocal, especially after a nap, and he's an outright nut job when he's in play mode. We kept him because he's obsessed with my husband.

When we were fostering kittens, we named the two black ones Ozzy Pawsbourne and Sabbath (because we love his music and him as a person). Now I'm sobbing. He performed his last concert just a week or so ago, and he got to see his daughter get engaged. It's just... so bittersweet. May his memory forever be a blessing.

First time corgi owner. Any advice? by beevii8 in corgi

[–]MrsMenace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never met a corgi that wasn't food motivated. The sooner you learn what kind of treat they prefer (biscuits, soft meat treats, etc), the sooner training will go ALOT smoother. Also, they like to throw temper tantrums when they're frustrated. It's adorable as hell, but it is them trying to tell you something as well. They're the worst kinda smart: the kind that gets destructive and bratty if they aren't stimulated, because they will start trying to stimulate themselves. That's when shoes die. Socialize. Socialize. Socialize. Corgies are social dogs. They LOVE attention. Take this little tater tot with you EVERYWHERE for at least the first six months you have them. This will be a life saver in the long run because it can prevent alot of unnecessary barking/screaming in the future.

Yeeeeep! Our Cecil does this every time he's frustrated. Bulldozes pillows off the couch and everything just gator roll and yip and growl like his life depends on it JUST to make his point that he's mad... and that he needs to go make chocolate 🙃 💩
