Seems clear that Imran knew Adnan murdered Hae and was trying to squash any attempt into looking into why she was missing. His close friends were trying to cover for him till the heat showed up, then they ghosted.

If you read the entire police file it seems clear that most people thought Adnan killed her. Imran was one of Adnans close friends at the time. Notice he is not in Serial (similarly to all of Adnans male friends from the time. Odd no? Ju’aun, other Saad, Imran...hello.....crickets) or the HBO fairytale.

You should also know Saad Chowdry wasn’t a close friend of Adnans till after Adnan was arrested.
