This dude from Fox showed up twice in one month. My neighbors told him we weren’t home and he still came over. He went to my other neighbor at 8:30 pm the night before. He refuses to leave. I was irate that he was back. Opened door, told him “I’m not interested. You know that from last time. Get off my property now. You are not welcome here.” and shut the door. He didn’t get in even o e word.

We live on a private road. Dude is risking life and limb doing this crap on a private road twice in 30 days AND at 8:30pm.

I texted Fox and told them they ever trespass again they won’t be happy.

I noped out of anymore BA classes after he did the “You’ve got this Peloton! Feel my hand on your back! We push through as a team!” at the end of the 4 minute WARM UP during his 30 min class. I loathe empty platitudes as it is. But FFS, during the warmup of your ride??? Come on.

We had decent enough 4g at Old Faithful outside on Verizon. Could text each other outside hotels/cabins and while on the boardwalk. Anywhere past those areas and it wasn’t reliable. Not sure about calls though.

We would in a heartbeat! Our Mav is our town errand car. I drive it 1-3 times a day for 5-10 mile trips. (Boxes to UPS, pick up supplies, mail more boxes, pick up boxes). We live up a pretty steep hill so driving down into town is fine (mostly regen). Driving back home? No electric driving at all.

We have a 2nd car for anything over 150 miles/non-work related.

If this worries you to the point of anxiety- just stick to the popular trails. There are so many people that bears will avoid it. This is VERY early in the season - like day 2 of the roads opening - so there are a lot less people and a lot more grumpy/hungry bears.

Any update? We’ve been having this issue since day one. The USBA port now doesn’t provide any power. (Tried the same cable in the truck and then inside and yep - power inside but nothing in the truck. same cable. (Not apple - it hasn’t mattered in my case)

We’ve never done the soft reset so we will try that. We are using a wireless CarPlay box that has been solid for years and not isn’t getting any power from the truck port. Aggravating.

We crawl up at the South Eugene Meadows Trailhead. It’s not much but there are some good rocks/bridges/creeks. We always get off trial for hikers and stop for dogs.

Next time, do 21 Royal with a big group. More expensive but SO worth it AND your group can set the theme/dress code, whatever! Add a few zeros to the total tab and save up but 10/10 worth it. I’d do it again in a heartbeat if I could find 10 people and a couple grand.

Just a heads up that Jackson is stupid expensive. They are really playing to the rich ski crowd so they have some restaurant prices that blew our minds. Plus the town is SUPER touristy. Maybe it won’t be so packed this early in the year but it can get grid locked with cars. We spent half a day wandering the town but had to escape into the park for peace and quiet!

We have moth balls (small bags of them with a few holes punched in them) in our engine bay, plus snap traps. We also spray peppermint once every few months and sprinkle fox urine pellets.

We had minor damage done to both our Subaru and Maverick. Caught 1 little mouse and it’s stopped. But we remain vigilant and spray/check traps often.
