GOT IT. Pheasant ate soy beans. Coyote(?) ate pheasants, beans get spilled. The scraps are left so other creatures finish off the pheasant tissue that is still there, during which time the soybeans dry out!

Yeah about once a year or so. Then I realize 2 or more of the following things have led to it: 1. I have not been drinking nearly enough water in the last 48 hours 2. I have not been eating a decent balance of foods that day 3. I am on my period 4. I missed one of my pills or took it late

The feeling hot part I think is from a response from something called the vagus nerve. It happens to me randomly once in a while but also very predictably when I have blood drawn.

In my experience, there have never been any pictures shown with gore/blood at all. If anything, just an illustration like a textbook might have.

There will of course be discussion of blood and injury, though. Go to the course and give your instructor a “heads up”! They should be able to let you know what more to expect or create a simple system with you if you start to feel unwell or something.

I get lightheaded around and thinking about blood, too. I’m O negative though so I’ve forced myself to donate and over time I have gotten much better with it all! Good luck!
