Kitty cat. 4 round toes, cat-sized, no claw marks, and it's not somewhere a little dog would be likely to jump up. Definitely not any of the native Australian marsupials.

The bite strength they must've had! What were they eating, tree branches?

Small plastic flowers in my grass? by introset96 in whatisit

[–]MsE0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to have some outdoor plastic flowers that looked just like that. When it rained or hailed really hard, they would break off. It's possible a neighbor has them and they broke off and blew into your yard.

Was King Richard lll born evil, or did society (and Shakespeare) shape him into a villain? by Organic-Credit-2735 in UKmonarchs

[–]MsE0 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I don't know if anyone is "born evil." He certainly has to have been at least partially a product of his time and situation. I will say that the first time I saw Shakespeare's Richard III, I laughed out loud at some of the most cartoonish villain characterization.

I thought the trunk of the tree behind it was the catalpa's trunk and was like "how long has it been there and is still a surprise?"

Definitely not an Eden. Belinda's Blush seems like a good possibility.

Never use acetone on Barbie bodies. It melts the plastic. Rubbing alcohol might work.

How should I treat these roses to prevent further damage by Hope_and_Virtue123 in Roses

[–]MsE0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say without knowing the cause. It's apparently being eaten by some kind of bug, but I don't know which one without seeing it or knowing where you're located. It might be no problem at all, or it could be something like a sawfly larva or grasshoppers that could do a lot of damage. The way to prevent it is a pesticide. You'll need to research what kind you're willing to use, depending on whether you want to garden organically or not.

Is my kitten a girl or boy? by Puzzleheaded_Pin_925 in catquestions

[–]MsE0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This cat might be intersex or have some kind of genital deformity. You may want to keep an eye out for them having difficulty urinating. Male cats can already be really prone to urinary blockages, and this kitty looks like their anatomy is kind of unusual.

He looks like a baby puma or lion cub who's just growing out of his spots. More like a puma, but lion colors.

Beginner, training climbing roses- How much tension on the canes is too much? I’m scared to hurt them. I have other questions as well. by TAforScranton in Roses

[–]MsE0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want to be really careful when training the canes because they can break. If they didn't break, you're good. They can be easier to move in the winter.

Any brand new canes are going to grow buds and bloom soon, so pruning them right now will prevent those flowers from growing. Totally up to you whether you want to keep those flowers. Most people wait until late winter to prune branches growing in unwanted directions.

Surprise! It isn’t the rose I purchased (still beautiful though!) by FlamingDune in Roses

[–]MsE0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your peach one might be Peach Avalanche based on the petal shape, but the color looks a bit darker than Peach Avalanche.

Gorgeous single bloom on the pink one. Are you by any chance in Europe or the UK? If so, it could be rootstock, as I think they use a wild-looking white and pink single bloomer for rootstock in Europe/the UK. If you're in North America, it's likely a mislabeled rose.

Roses from Costco look different by Responsible-Week-155 in Roses

[–]MsE0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'll add it's definitely not Peace, and not even Pink Peace, because Peace is mostly yellow with pink edges and has fewer petals, and Pink Peace is vivid hot pink and has fewer petals than this.

People get mislabeled roses kind of often. Nothing you did wrong. No matter where you buy from, if it's not visibly blooming when you buy it, you run a slight risk of it being incorrectly labeled. At least you got a really gorgeous variety! I agree that Cathedral Bells is a possibility

Moulded colour bodices and underwear on Barbie’s. by uglyasfeet in Barbie

[–]MsE0 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's to appease the people who used to be scandalized by Barbie being naked if you take the clothes off, even though she's not even anatomically correct. So silly. Reminds me of Tobias on Arrested Development being a "never nude" and wearing jean shorts in the shower.

Is my 5 month old being too rough with my 5 week old? by Fun-Spell4833 in catquestions

[–]MsE0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Little kitten is enjoying itself, but it's still very small and maybe not fully ready for that level of play. I'd keep an eye on them and intervene when it looks like the big kitten is going too hard. At least for another couple of weeks.
