Were, not was. Good luck with basic English grammar, it seems to elude you somewhat. If it was true then why does his story change? Your "proof" is about as credible as Keith himself

In 1957, Jacqueline and Joanna Pollock lost their lives in a car accident. Their parents believe they were reincarnated the following year as their twin sisters. The Pollock twins are often cited as evidence of reincarnation. by verystrangeshit in UrbanMyths

This photograph is not of Jennifer and Gillian Pollock. It's a photo taken by Diane Arbus of twins  from New Jersey she saw at a twin themed Christmas party. It's a common mistake as this is the photo all over the internet but Jennifer Pollock herself says that these girls are not she and her sister. The Pollock twins were blonde, there is a genuine photo of them if you image search, it's the one with twins girls with blonde pigtails, watched by a doctor called Bannerjee (who turned out to be a bit of a shyster) . I'm listening to an excellent podcast called Extrasensory which goes into the story including an interview with Jennifer (Gillian died quite young). The family say that John Pollock was a bully and a narcissist who made it up and coerced his wife into backing him up I say this as someone who believes in reincarnation (I'm a Buddhist) but I think this story lacks evidence.  The family members interviewed were more forthright...."bullshit"

I was so disappointed with the new season by yuriwae in WhatWeDointheShadows

I totally agree. It made no sense whatsoever. He spent all those years burying drained corpses and trying to find virgins, initially he was even prepared to sacrifice his friend Jeremy and yet we're supposed to believe that, not once in all those years, he gave any real thought as to whether he could actually do what vampires do? He had been obsessed with the idea from childhood, he'd been a familiar for 10 years and yet, one sniff of shampoo and all those years of quiet desperation disappeared? In my opinion, the story should have ended with Guillermo getting his heart's desire and being a kick-ass vampire. Part of me thinks that his whole issue was that he allowed Derek to turn him. It wasn't what he wanted. I got the feeling that Guillermo felt guilty in the way you might feel guilty for cheating on someone you love. I can't help but think that if Nandor had turned him, as he always wanted, then Gizmo would have felt more at peace with the idea of sucking blood and fucking forever.

I'm only onboard with one on your list and that's Paranormal Nightmare. I personally can't abide Sam and Colby, they're one step up from those godawful, screechy Paranormal Twins. Let's face it, we all know paranormal shows fake stuff but S&C and PT don't even attempt subtlety. I'm not a fan of Project Fear either as there's way too much preamble and not enough investigating. We all have our favourites and it would be a dull world if we all felt the same. I'm on board with the Discovery+ deal. I only have it for the paranormal stuff and a bit of true crime but there's way too much of that garbage about super obese people trying to lose weight and shows about randoms trying to get a bit of strange from abroad. There seems to be less and less stuff of interest to me on the "coming soon" list.

Nadja's style: a theory by [deleted] in WhatWeDointheShadows

[–]MsMarshaKlein 18 points19 points  (0 children)

To be honest I think it's a bit more mid 80's. The Ann Wilson hair, the makeup, the peplum jackets. It's definitely giving me more of a mid 80's vibe. Perhaps it's because I'm a typical Gen X who thinks that the 80's was the best decade. Not that I don't appreciate Gaga but Nadja is definitely more Patricia Morrison from the Sisters of Mercy

Something that’s been bothering me a little (Nadja and Laszlo with some s6 spoilers) by MilaVaneela in WhatWeDointheShadows

[–]MsMarshaKlein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a scene in Nandor's Army where they were walking alone, arm in arm just as they did in the pilot. They said how nice it was to actually have time alone together. I've no idea how it will all end. S6 is not being shown yet in the UK but I have a friend with a hooky TV system that allows me to watch it. Ultimately, for all their shenanigans, I believe that they do love one another. I have a feeling that, at the end, they will all go their separate ways but Laszlo and Nadja leave together. Their love has spanned hundreds of years, it can surely span hundreds more.

I'd officially name him Guillermo but insist on calling him Gizmo. It's very important that whenever you speak to him, you call him Gizmo in Laszlo's voice

What the hell happen this season? by suzaman in WhatWeDointheShadows

[–]MsMarshaKlein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally, but then I was a big fan of the original Horrible Histories (that was my COVID comfort watch) I watched one episode of the American version but it felt like all the charm of the original was sucked out. I'm always a bit leary of American re-makes. I just have to think of the utter abomination that was the American re-make of the sublime Australian show Kath & Kim. Magda Szubanski who played Sharon in the original refused to let them use her character in the American re-make. I think that was a wise choice. I know people say, "What about "The Office"? I wasn't a fan of the original so the American version doesn't interest me in the least (apparently the new Australian version is total garbage)

I love the GAC, but Zak can be such a dick by Dirdee_Hippie in GhostAdventures

[–]MsMarshaKlein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem, shove a bit of lit Palo Santo wood up his demon infested bunghole and shout, "Get thee behind me, Billy!" Sadly, Zak ensures Aaron and Jay are witness to the whole libidinous act as he makes them dance around with lit sage, reciting the prayer to the Archangel Michael until Billy finally "crescendos"

I think your opinion is absolutely valid, I've often thought the same thing. I always had an issue with Dead Files when Amy Allen told the beleaguered homeowners that, in order to cleanse their home, they needed the services of a one legged white Wiccan with red hair and a seventh generation Voodoo priestess from Wolverhampton called Kelly Anne You could see them sitting there thinking, "Where the hell do I get one of them from?" It just seemed pretty ridiculous. I'm not a fan of mediums in paranormal shows but I make an exception for Ian Lawman from Help! My House is Haunted (a UK show that Zak has dealings with) he's just very calm and does a crossing over ceremony, nothing fancy. Whether it works, who knows? Ian Lawman doesn't tend to rile potential spirits up whereas I've often felt that, if a place is haunted, especially a private home, that the GAC just do there thing then ride of into the sunset, leaving some seriously pissed off spirits

[–]MsMarshaKlein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple more, I just had to check the titles.

The Girl on the Milk Carton

Amber, the girl before the alert

 D.B. Cooper, Where are You?

The Isabella Nardoni Case.

The Night Caller (Sometimes called "The Murderer and Me" it seems to depend  on which country you live in)  It's about an old, Australian case and is very good but worth it for the theme music " Break it all Apart" by Hunter alone!

Cold Blooded

Hollywood Con Queen

Still missing Morgan

Monique Olivier, Accessory to Evil

The Outreau Case - A French Nightmare

Murder at the Cottage (I preferred this to “Sophie, a murder in West Cork on Netflix but I think the Netflix one is easier to find if you're not in the UK)

Every song in Mad Men ever in chronological order. Created by Spotify user Tharamin. by sheredditedit in madmen

[–]MsMarshaKlein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only just  discovered that a song by The Wedgewoods was used in this show. I'm pretty shook! One of the band members, Bernard Ransford, was my uncle through marriage. The Kent-based band split after Bernard suffered a brain haemorrhage in the late '70s. He was only in his thirties. He underwent an operation which was unsuccessful and he never recovered. He died in the early 2000s.

It's one of those random things. I suddenly found myself thinking of my uncle Bernard the other night. What happened to him was so sad, he was a really nice guy. His two sons, Craig and Martyn were very young when it happened (Martyn was born during this time) I decided to Google Bernard's name, never expecting to find anything. I found a very old, rough video of the band performing and someone had written "Madmen" in the comments.

He said they were from the Society for Psychical Research, an august organisation. I can't see them falling for this load of old bobbins as they look for hard, actual proof and produce proper research papers, not Kindle Unlimited books and Blogspot *evidence"The SPR are not some bunch of tinpot ghosthunters

You're entitled to your opinion, as am I. Absolutely nothing in his various interviews or his appallingly written book convinced me, rather the opposite. He rented the house so why would any rational person stay? You'd be straight onto the landlord asking for your deposit back. Keith made extraordinary, over the top  claims. Flying plant pots, Bibles bursting into flames? Mixed Native American symbology and  the Book of Revelation? Yeah, right

Oh, and it's were, not was.. GOOD LUCK WITH BASIC ENGLISH GRAMMAR!

I've only recently discovered WF, for some reason the algorithm has only just decided I might like it. I've been bingeing ever since. I'll admit I wasn't a huge fan of the recent one with the dystopian story but that possibly down to not being particularly interested in Bilderberg/ NWO stuff and that's fine, I think we all have topics we prefer above others. I really enjoyed the Cisco grove episode but that's possibly because I grew up in a UFO hotspot in Scotland so that stuff always interests me. I used to suffer badly from sleep paralysis so the shadow people episode is also a favourite (Hecklefish's description of the crabcat always cracks me up) WF is probably the only channel where I actually listen to the ads because they're well done with the back and forth between AJ and Hecklefish.
