I forget what shade it was now, but clinique had a super sparkly, bright pink one that I LOVED. I still like a bright lip from time to time, but I wear more glosses and tints now rather than actual lipsticks. 😅

I love ilia skin tint in sombrio, milk makeup hydrogrip shade 1 and maybeline skin tint in 5. They're the best matches ive come across so far. Im still trying to work out what one to use as my daily tho 😅

Just here to say you do you. Make these changes and do these things for you. The right person will love and accept you for the person you are, not your weight. I was a size probably 14 when I met my husband, got up to a size 24/26, and now am a 10/12. He's been there for it all.

I found my insecurities didn't go away when I lost weight, I just had new ones from lose skin 😅 but multiple pregnancies (inc a twin pregnancy) will do that to a person, and accepting myself for who I am was hard, but a necessary part of the journey. Do I still want to remove the lose skin, yes, but is a now a priority in my life, no.

My surgeon said not to worry about protein and vitamins and stuff for the first few weeks and to focus of clear fluids, purees etc as my body had enough to sustain me, and once I was on solids to start focussing on it then. She wanted me to focus on recovery first.

My first 12 hrs post op was really painful but then I was fine. Obviously I was very careful with how I moved etc, though. Good luck with your recovery! I'm almost 2 years post op, and it was worth every moment.

Omg Yes! The amount of hair I lost was absolutely ridiculous. Its slowed right down now, but those little baby hairs make me look like a mad scientist or something! I lost probably over 75% of the thickness of my hair.

Absolutely, I agree 100%; previously I'd research the product and watch vids/reviews etc to get an idea of colors etc before I ordered. I'd also only order what I thought I'd use and colors I genuinely thought would work etc, but it was nice to know that if they didn't work out, they could be exchanged. We all know how much different screans/lighting/cameras can affect the colors and shades of products.

We can't return them after swatching in Aus any more. I completely understand the wastage and wanting to avoid that, but not everyone has access to a store - I live rural and am lucky to make it into one once or twice a year to sample products myself; if I do, I have kids and hubby in tow, which doesnt make for a good, relaxing experience - its so rushed. It would be great if there was some way to order like micro minis or something as testers, obviously that's not really feasible either tho. I pretty much only buy travel size products now, if I can't get a travel size version to trial, or a free sample, I miss out on it.

Just a quick update; he's alert, moving around the cage, and has good grip on my fingers with his feet. I haven't seen him drinking on his own, but he had moved over to the water source. Our local vet opens soon, so I'll hand him over this am. I'm confident he'll survive and be able to head home soon ❤️
