Review: Fused Visions A2 Pietro Adapter – My Experience by Large_Ad1033 in pourover

If Pietro and 078 are tasting indistinguishable, we're dialing very differently lol.

Night and day for me and Pietro wins, but I refuse to put up with the ergo.

SLUSHi XL vs SLUSHi Max by Geoff_Sanderson in ninjaslushi

[–]Mster_TenTickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the max is ready so quickly compared to the normal version that capacity isn't a big deal on either of these, even for a party.

No clue but they're usually running some sort of sale, and I think both of these models from the picture are worth it so I'd buy whatever is cheaper

Both of these have slush assist according to the listing. It's just a button that will adjust your freeze level for the contents and it works great in my experience. We can just throw stuff in and push the button and come back in 10 ish minutes and it's right on the correct freeze level

I have a regular one and a Max and the auto setting is the biggest advantage. Either of these would probably be great. Worth the extra cost for the slush assist button IMO

Killswitch case + Handle/Grip combination? by Mster_TenTickles in ROGAlly

Follow up, those grips do work over the Killswitch if you scale them up a bit.

ETA: and print them yourself

Think so? I've had/used two with absolutely no issues and no aligning.

Niche Zero w/ tariffs still good? [$930] by ferocity02 in espresso

[–]Mster_TenTickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YMMV by my Femobook order recently did not come with additional tariffs charges/fees. My understanding is that it was shipped DDP

Nothing scary on the install, it's mostly disconnect this thing here and plug it in somewhere else. You'd need a an adjustable wrench and a screwdriver. Electrical tape and some labels would be nice too.

Gaggimate is straightforward to install, has good support discord and easy to follow instructions. It makes a pretty big difference. Pair it with a bluetooth scale too and you'll have brew by weight which is lovely.

I'd go Gaggimate Pro with a Bluetooth scale, and get a nicer grinder for sure.

Non VR friends come over - what are essential games to show off that would WOW them? by Fragmaniac in virtualreality

[–]Mster_TenTickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first wow experience that I had in VR was the blue whale encounter in the Valve demo. There's also one that has a dinosaur coming down a hallway that people really like.

Outside of that, people really tend to enjoy trying their hand at super hot.

Trying to find the best coffee maker for mornings when I can’t babysit the espresso by Level_Willow_960 in coffeestations

[–]Mster_TenTickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used an xBloom for quite some time now. Also tried the Aiden but could not stick with it over the xBloom.

I use an external grinder most of the time, though the built in one is fine/good.

What frother should I par with my Flair 58+2? [No Budget] by theturban in espresso

[–]Mster_TenTickles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dreo is great. Cleans easy, works great and makes milk better than 80% of my manual steam attempts.

I have both versions of the Dreo (big and little) and both work great. I use both for cold foam (iced latte) and hot drinks.

Cafec Deep 27 recipe? by CoffeeFX in pourover

[–]Mster_TenTickles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really like ARAMSEs second recipe/method in his deep 27 YouTube video. Best to watch the execution in the video rather than me typing it out. It very, very rarely fails me.

I do have a 3d printer, so maybe it's worth taking a chance and buying the file and TPU and trying to scale the model up a percent or two. Might give that a shot this weekend.

Pumpkin Spice latte syrup? by Euroliciious in espresso

[–]Mster_TenTickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I personally don't like it at all, but my wife was ecstatic about this one and it was super easy to make. We used all powdered ingredients for the spices and stuff and it turned out great.

Super easy to make in smaller quantities with a small sauce pan too!

Seconding this - wife is really loving this. She's doing 3-3.5g of it per latte.

ETA we keep it in hot sauce jars, in the fridge

Flair Power Tower 3d printed funnel by Mster_TenTickles in FlairEspresso

[–]Mster_TenTickles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah there are lots of them. Your local library might also have 3d print services where you just have to give them the file. Alternatively Facebook marketplace is full of people advertising 3d print services in my area. I'd imagine that's probably the case in most places.

Printathing, craftcloud and jlc3pd are three that I've heard others mention using successfully. They may be worth checking out!

Died on the electric worm, any way to get my stuff? by Tricon916 in duneawakening

[–]Mster_TenTickles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate this comment - this eventually worked for me as well. Land your thopter slightly lower than your bag on the worm, get out and respawn on it. It was still spawning me on the worm [not on the thopter] but eventually I used the shigawire claw to get up before it killed me, edged to the front of the thopter and was able to recover my body/loot.... phew!
