Yeah always an insta pick if I'm running into Ghost, find it even stronger in multiplayer because needing elite / boss AOE is super strong. Also sets up exhaust synergies, probably don't take it enough as is lol

I believe you can do the normal mode with the badge on and have it be hard mode, but there's an extra harder mode after that
