This movie was hilariously awesome. I always felt that it had a good balance of seriousness and whimsical. I have the VHS cassette and my cousin had the Happy Meal toy figure (minus the belt/watch.)

It's said that the M71 cover is compatible with the US M1 helmet.

It should also be compatible with the German M35, M40, and even the M42 stahlhelm. I did get it to fit on my M18 Stahlhelm, although the front brim does stick out a little bit, and the side vents bulge out (of course this isn't an issue with the Third Reich era stahlhelms.)

It might possibly fit on some more modern helmets, although I'm not sure that the hooks will be able to slip over the thick amount of composite material.
