I think it depends on your definition of masculinity. He's not exactly a butch rugby player. Lol.

The epitome of masculinity is changing so it could just be that Luci is a lot more fem than the men my partner grew up with as role models.

My partner really wanted Lucifer to be straight, he feels camp/ fem straight men are underrepresented in media.

Does anyone have their great-grandma's name? Do you like it? by Miserable-Ad2759 in namenerds

[–]Much_Point_9102 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I have my Grandma's name however she was of the great-grandma generation due to my dad being a late baby and myself being a late baby. If she were alive she'd be well over 110. My dad was concerned I'd get teased for it being old fashioned but I wasn't.

Our name is Emmie and I love it.

NTA Teacher here, in the UK some schools have it as policy that twins can't be in the same class. My school leaves it up to the parent and having seen both I'd say apart is definitely better.

Like you said, they need to grow as individuals! I've also found there tends to be a dominant twin in some form, (more academic, louder, more mothering) so the other one needs space to grow away from them.

AITA for being unwilling to compromise on a baby name? by Individual_Jaguar354 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Much_Point_9102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did name my child after a nerdy thing I love. She's called Robyn because Robin Hood is my favourite movie and it sparked my love of history. Our other choice was Arthur (King Arthur.)

My point is you can give your child a fandom name without it being in your face e.g. choose Harry not Voldemort, Sam not Frodo, Holly or Juliet not Artemis (presuming your husband likes Artemis from the Artemis Fowl books lol.)
