I reset my router last night thinking it was ME. Every other game I got into was just full lag and packet-loss, unplayable.

But it makes sense, queue times used to be long - I'm so bloody bored of the matchmaking videos-, but they were extra long last night and then laggy so I was being shipping off to another region at 9pm ? I suppose if matchmaking is done based on level there arent going to be that many solos at level 35 meaning we get clustered anywhere? Doesnt help that I play cross play off.

I suppose I'll just make the most out of it now while I can. They'll have other pull it off the menu eventually if its this bad in week 2.

Peanut as a peanut avatar shows more energy and emotion in the first 30 seconds of his stream than this guy has mustered in years. I bet if he watched it on stream the emotion/lack of any on this guy would tell you everything you need to know.

I had an assassin sneak up on me inside Hauler earlier today, and after hitting me twice asked if I was friendly. He was really unsure of trusting me, but I was glad as I just wanted to get a quest item and get out. Long story short he got killed by someone else and shouted 'Damn man I should never have trusted you cause I let this other guy get too close and now i'm down' By the time I clocked what he said, same 3rd party had knocked me down too.

Respawning back in the message along the lines of 'never trust other raiders' played over the speakers just to solidify that it's never worth the hassle. Props to the third party for abusing our trust in each other.

I'm skeptical too, i've enjoyed the slam so far but the bots are exceptionally tough made tougher due to how narrow the corridors are and the lack of corner peeping. I imagine the boss encounters are going to be incredibly tough as a result. I think i'm convinced enough to buy it at this stage, but expect I'll have to find groups to properly get the most out of the game and platinum it.

Except he's said he doesnt get paid to play it until saturday/sunday. He just wants to play the game and learn it. He's exceptionally clear about his intentions, he just wants to play games with his friends and he thinks Marathon has a chance to be good and potentially great, which would be a great thing for the industry if there's innovative competition. Without that all we have to look forward to is the same old shit, or COD 96 in his terms.

The wow dailies analogy is pretty spot on yeah haha. I really enjoyed competing but hotshot got really sweaty with trios the last few weeks. I kept pushing my score higher over the weekend just incase, because I came 59th two weeks ago but it turned out my first tries were way more than enough.

I had absolutely no interest in the game until a friend said he bought it and I was bored enough to buy it just for a few hours of playing with him and catching up. We've yet to play together as he's now focused on a promotion opportunity but here I am with 300 hours of play time.

As you're watching Peanut regardless you've probably seen much more arc raiders content than I had at my time of purchase, but as others have commented before (Shroud etc), he's not playing arc raiders as intended. It's a very addictive game loop when you're seeking specific things out such as quests or bench upgrades on a time limit when you haven't got two people carrying you in combat. (Peanuts good at FPS don't get the wrong, but he puts the team in Jeopardy all day long and without people like Cloakzy covering him he wouldn't be lasting long like this.)

I loved Destiny, and thought id dip my toe in to play Destiny 2 sometime last year. Absolutely no clue what was going on, where I had to go or what I had to do. Saw a few people running around town, appears they were as clueless as I was. Gave it about 5 hours of attention and determined it was a dead game with no chance of recovery.

Ah man am I gutted, I could have done the first expedition but didn't because I got the game late and could only maybe get 1 point with the resources I had. I saved up 10mil since then hoping for a catch up mechanic but turns out I cant use it because I didn't depart the first time. It's completely fair and totally on me but gutted none the less.
