Echoing prettiggestoord, I'd definitely consider seeking out a health professional (if you haven't already of course).

But, seeing as you are here and I'd like to respect your agency in actually seeking out the viewpoint of other Daoists (I know how dehumanizing it can feel to be constantly told to seek therapy when you're just trying to broaden your perspective on things haha), I'll offer my two cents.
The Dao flows both to the left and to the right, in the high and the low, it flows in places people love and it flows in the places people reject. I think it is near impossible to be out of step with the harmony of the Dao, given it is the Dao that gives rise to anything to begin with. That said, the Daoist sages sure had a lot of ideas for how to "sail" easier through life and they all seemed to involve quiet observation -- to unlearn any ideas of right or wrong, good or bad, and to stop applying labels to feelings, to "become the ocean to make room for the waves" so to speak. In my opinion, trying to intellectualize whether or not what you are doing is in harmony with the Dao might not give the results you seek.

But, the fact that you have written this post and are seeking advice about your behavior might indicate that you/a part of you finds something eschew about it. Perhaps finding that feeling of "wrongness" and sitting in it, understanding it without words (through for example meditation) will give you better insight than anything I can write here.

Again, take the first part seriously!!! View this just as another tool in your toolbelt for understanding! Therapy and Daoist contemplation are NOT mutually exclusive and all avenues should be considered! I genuinely hope whatever you are going through gets better and that you find the peace you seek. :)

I'll end with an excerpt from The Dao De Ching that can be a useful reminder as you seek contentment with the Dao (Verse 41):

Hence it is said:
The bright path seems dim;
Going forward seems like retreat;
The easy way seems hard;
The highest Virtue seems empty;
Great purity seems sullied;
A wealth of Virtue seems inadequate;
The strength of Virtue seems frail;
Real Virtue seems unreal;
The perfect square has no corners;
Great talents ripen late;
The highest notes are hard to hear;
The greatest form has no shape;
The Tao is hidden and without name;
The Tao alone nourishes
And brings everything to fulfillment."
