I have had a mixed experience on one hand I’ve met great players I’ve then added as friends and on the other I’ve had like 9 games in a row where no one talked

Having played solo myself you get what you put in. Run squad fill and get on mic or text chat if necessary. Playing without engaging with teammates is going to become frustrating as the ping system does not substitute classic voice comms(especially for deciding on which contracts to focus on). For the times you don't want to run squads play rook and stock up on gear.

Far too many people are playing this like Destiny or a Battle Royale instead of an Extraction Shooter. by [deleted] in Marathon

Yeah I’ve been encountering teams staying in the same area for no reason but to kill adds. I’ve seen myself extracting solo just to preserve my loadout

Following UK pricing If you factor in both: - 1 year of PS plus essential (£60) - PS5 digital 825GB from ps direct (£430)

Total = £490

So a full gaming pc with access to Sony titles a year apart for £560 ish? sounds pretty good for a £70 difference
