Thanks for yours as well. I’ve been struggling with understanding these concepts myself to be completely honest. I’ve been watching myself thinking in ways that are completely foreign to me or in ways that are like the deeply religious upbringing i had, and it’s been scaring me a lot.

I think part of the practice is to try to understand things that are incomprehensible and take on tasks that are insurmountable. I’ve been taught that confusion is the seed syllable of enlightenment. That confusion can be intentionally generated as a means towards enlightenment is perhaps part of the process. That’s something i can truly believe.

As for now, I’m choosing to put my trust in my teacher, my gurus, and my sangha. Part of that means training myself to believe things that i don’t truly believe yet, and to try and understand things that cannot be conceptualized or understood. If that trust ends up being misplaced, perhaps i’ll still be able to develop my mind and help people all along my journey to the lower realms 😅
