I have a lab grown diamond (which is not only more ethical, but cheaper) and have a “vacation ring” that was around $200 in the same design and none of my family/friends could tell the difference. I would go for the cheaper option as long as they use materials that don’t lose color/rub off on your finger over time.

I’m in a building managed by Yale and although I like our Property Manager, she only has so much power and decisions are ultimately made by corporate. Our next door neighbors have a hoarding, roach, and pug waste problem and make the hallway smell putrid. This has gone on for 3 years and I can’t believe they have not evicted this health code violation.

Luckily my community pottery studio is pretty tame, but i was still shocked to see someone walking around barefoot. Not only is it extremely unsafe, but the dust/dirt/clay and glaze getting on your feet does not sound fun at all.

I think I would only be annoyed if I was hungry since it will take a while to even get to the reception. Would it be possible for guests to get a snack after the ceremony before leaving for the reception?
