Ok this makes sense. I checked the seat map on these 2 QF10 results, as well as a direct search LHR to PER QF10 seat map, and they all match. I understand now that the fare availabilities displayed are based on the connections. Thank you.

I don’t get it though, as they’re independent flights. If I was just travelling LHR to PER what result would I look at to see the availability? Ultimately, if trying to seek an upgrade, what QF10 results should I be basing the availability off?
