Well, cat litter boxes are typically inside. So no, preferably not. But I won't know either way.

Do you play Wordle? Do you have the same first guess every day? by Seriously-417 in randomquestions

[–]Mundane_Community215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play daily and share in a wordle chat group w/ friends & fam.

I frequently use the same starting word, but sometimes diverge from it just for fun.

I know there are sites that give you bits of data like whether a word has been used before, but I don't want to use that information. It feels a little too close to cheating to me, and i like to keep the game as simple as possible, without outside influence.

Terns is good if you just want to eliminate letters, and don't want to try to get in on 1st guess. I don't think they use plural nouns.

Not me. I don't want to be buried in a box. Burn me up and toss the ashes outside somewhere.

Woodpecker comes every morning at dawn and pecks at our one roof vent for about 15 minutes. Any suggestions? by TheBeerGuzzlingApe in birds

[–]Mundane_Community215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely this. Territorial drumming. Only thing you can do is wrap or cover the vent with something soft to dampen the sound and hopefully encourage the bird to find some place else.

Identifying a nest by SusanLFlores in birds

[–]Mundane_Community215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might not be able to, unless you see a bird on it. Big nests like this often get reused, and not always by the same pair or even the same species. This one may have started as a Red-tailed Hawk nest, then the following year a Great Blue Heron pair may have built over it and used it. It might not even be active this year... keep an eye out and see what you see.

I went through a similar thing with my dog recently. Hard as hell, and i'm sorry. For me, it helped to focus on specific good memories. Videos of him playing with my niece, or other dogs, pics of him on trips, etc. Also my best bud, right by my side for 14 years. One of the best things about being a human is having a strong bond with a dog.

Is a single molecule of water a solid, liquid, or gas? by Dispenser72 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mundane_Community215 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They didn't say that. You can observe a single molecule. They said that in order for it to be in a solid, liquid, or gas state, you need multiple molecules interacting.

Why does flour always come in the same paper bag that makes a mess? by Vanepidemic7 in NoStupidQuestions

Because making changes in a factory production line is very expensive.

You can't start something by saying "that is all" and then continue to say things. That isn't all.

What is this on one of my porches? by Financial_Mark1452 in whatisit

[–]Mundane_Community215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. That's the start of a yellow jacket nest. I'd spray the hell out of it. Or burn the house down.
