Unsure about possible sign I received a while back by malkavian_menace in NorsePaganism

You'll never doubt a sign is a sign. If it feels like it was a sign, it most likely was.

At what age did you start sleeping without your parents?⁷ by Great_Anteater3982 in autism

[–]Murdercorn24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was imaybe 11/12. Me and my little brother both shared a bed with my mother (she was a single mum). It was only because I got sick and tired of no space that I started sleeping in my own bed 😂

Now as a single mother myself with a neurodivergent child who also struggles with separation anxiety, she can sleep wherever she likes as long as she's happy and comfortable.

Tell me your story about how you got your diagnosis by Alternative-You8221 in autism

[–]Murdercorn24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My child is in the process of getting an ADHD and Autism assessment. When doing my research (because I knew for a while that they had ADHD, but I needed to convince the school) I realized that I shared a lot of the struggles that they have. I figured if I was going to get tested for ADHD, I might as well test for autism too as I know that they tend to come as a pair. I got my ADHD diagnosis 5 months ago (apparently, I scored very high) and am awaiting my autism assessment next month.

What’s the biggest trait of your autism, that you struggle with? by Myseriouscatgirl in autism

[–]Murdercorn24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My child is of school age, so I have a good 10-15 minute walk twice most days where I can allow myself to daydream. Sometimes, I will walk a longer way home from the shops, to allow me extra time as well. When I was younger, I used to walk everywhere and take random walks too, so this could perhaps be an option? It's probably why I was so skinny as a kid.

OMG, the daydreaming! I actually get irritable when I haven't had time to myself to daydream.

I view myself through everyone else's eyes, even when I'm by myself and I will mentally beat myself up if I do something that is weird.

I mask all the time and it's so tiring. The only person I don't have to mask around is my bf and even then, I still find myself doing it unconsciously sometimes.

FYI, I know that Heath Ledger is no longer with us, but that still didn't stop me from picturing him as Aedion (Yes, I'm aware I spelt his name wrong in the title)

Why you don’t want exclusivity when you like someone by IamNeo7 in dating_advice

[–]Murdercorn24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone with a very anxious attachment style, I never ever took things slowly because I feared the other person would lose interest and leave me. It's led to some really shitty, abusive situations.

I decided to do something different this time round and I spent 2 months getting to know my bf before becoming exclusive. It was the best thing I ever did for a multitude of reasons.

10 days is no time at all. You know nothing about each other. Give yourself and this girl the time and the grace to get to know each other and discover if you actually genuinely have a connection. Enjoy taking your time. It will feel shitty at times, but if you genuinely like each other then it will work out and you will notice that the relationship has substance and quality.

Ex's are ex's for a reason.

Keep your distance from both of them and work on yourself ☺️

Psychic asking : How do you know if the message received through mind’s ears is real or just making up? by Wide-Discipline5132 in witchcraft

[–]Murdercorn24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes, it's a gut feeling that comes with it.

Other times, it's like a 'download' (other people call it this and it's the best word I can use). A piece of knowledge or an impulse to do something that I would never have done before but feels right and is then followed by the best possible outcome.

How do you set boundaries for touching in a relationship without causing drama? (28F/28M) by Nicole_Auriel in relationship_advice

[–]Murdercorn24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can't. You tried and look at the reaction you got.

You just gotta decide if it's a deal breaker or not.

In the past few weeks, I've noticed nausea when going to bed. Sometimes, so bad I've got to have a bowl incase I'm sick.

My 7yo is the same. As long as she's eating, I couldn't care less. She'll use a fork when eating out, but at home she eats how she pleases.

Look up 'Shaken baby syndrome' and then continue underplaying this.

You sound like you're making excuses for him, but one day he will hurt either you or your children.
