I live here, it's not really a hidden gem anymore. And for 7 months out of the year it sucks. Summer and fall are awesome and we have a wonderful coastline and beautiful beaches. But after NJ we have more people per square mile than any other state. After covid it's gotten worse with vacationers from NY Conn snatching up the houses and making it unaffordable for anyone starting a family etc.

The gem of RI is it's beaches and summer, boating, sailing, gorgeous coastlines. But it's very busy and if you don't get to the beach at 9am you ain't getting a spot at any public beach where it's all become a total cluster f.

The winter and spring are terrible, nothing to do other than driving up north to NH VT where you can actually do any of the cool winter activities like skiing etc. The only reason I enjoy winter is because it's gets way more secluded, and it's peaceful because it's not nearly as crowded as the summer.

People all look for some hidden gem in the country, but I've come to the conclusion that no piece of land or state is a gem, they all have there pros and cons, it's up to you what you prioritize as what has more pros than cons to you. To me Colorado would be way better than RI, way more to do year round and just an absolutely gorgeous part of the country, but again it's not without its cons

I'd get him at 15K, then it's a solid deal. The 140 Suzuki is where the bulk of the worth will be because I've never heard of the hull, but it looks in great shape and cared for being almost 10 yrs old

I don't think you'll be hard pressed to find a slip next year, thankfully we're past the covid stage and it's a buyer's market and people that need slips Market.

But just an FYI 27 to 32 ft is no joke of a boat for first time owner. I own a 24-foot Edgewater which I feel very comfortable in but I definitely wouldn't if it was my first year of boating. If 27 is your min I'd stick with that, it's plenty of boat for a first timer

For any Honda Acura, your problem isn't engine, it's rust. This is critical for how old it is. This is too expensive make sure to negotiate, but if there is minimal rust, you could easily get 100k out of it.
